Gen 3 oil change tips
Here in FL where it's very warm most of the time I use Mobil-1 15-50. I always have good oil pressure even after some spirited driving on a hot day. Probably can't do that where it's cold. Just installed NGK IX Iridium 6441
With plugs a couple drops of light oil like 3-in-1 are all you really need. After a good while the oil will carbonize and act like anti-seize and you'll never have any problems if installed to the torque specified in the FSM. Way less messy than anti-seize. Need new tires (I guess?)
I'm needing new tires for my '06 coupe. I'm not a michelin fan boy and my choices due to the sizes are somewhat limited. I've used nitto's on several other applications in the past and loved them. Mopar exhaust = Borla exhaust ?
I have the MOPAR exhaust and I love it! It is built by Borla. It has a rather unique muffler and isn't really all that loud but it does get rid of the cross over and the cats. The price by comparison is a bonus.- fqberful

San Diego Header Recommendation
I have the M&M's on an '06 coupe. Fit good, do not leak, and have good hp gains. The M&M's are mild steel like Bellanger as opposed to American Racing and B&B which are stainless. I already had the MOPAR Performance exhaust which is actually fairly quiet compared to other after market...- fqberful

The Quaife is awesome even N/A ... It launches straight, allows you to come off a corner a lot harder and won't fail. The stock diff is a piece of crap and is inconsistent at best. What he said and : Initially the vibrations from the mounts is significant. BUT after a couple hundred miles it actually subsides quite a bit. How far can you cruise on a full tank?
Cruising between 75 and 80 in 6th with my 06 coupe and 3.55's I get between 19 and 21mpg pretty consistent. Real gas as opposed to ethanol "enriched" usually gives 1-2 mpg's better on a long run so good gas runs closer to the 20-21mpg. Watch the gas gauge but watch your mileage which is...- fqberful

Exhaust?
On my '06 GenIII I use M&M headers and the mufflers and tips from the MOPAR Perf Exhaust P4510176 .. Gets rid of the cross overs and cats. Not a whole lot louder than stock. Noticeable power increase the dyno backs up. Car stays cool inside as well. The M&M's have the benefit of not...- fqberful

Yep, been there done that. Now I don't have to mess around, don't need to take anything off or even jack up the car. Solid roller cam
You would need adjustable rocker arms, new push rods and the lifters of course. The power a solid cam produces and and at what RPM's is determined by the profile of the cam and not necessarily specific to the lifter type. Side Sill Removal
You can use a 10mm open end wrench and reach through the side vents to loosen them. You will probably find the front stud actually touches the inner fender liner. Life Expectancy of a Viper???
Only 2 months you don't want to drive them in FL, luv-bug seasons. But if you don't mind scrubbing those little $%^%^&&* off after every drive and doing a detailing even some under hood, then zero down time here! I've had mixed luck with optimas. I had a die-hard explode in my Vette. Go with an Interstate or Gould.
