My '08 coupe makes a noise from the back of the car on sharp right hand turns at low speed. It sounds more like something is rubbing than anything else; its certainly not a clicking sound. Car only has 5K miles.
I have a nagging recollection that removing the rear spoiler may adversely impact the car's warranty. If that matters to you, you may want to check into that before taking it off.
I've seen the car around in Dallas and it really did exist in flat black. It looked good. I express no opinion on what has happened since then. Its not my money and hey, I just wish I would have had a Viper when I was 22. Hmmm -- or maybe not.
I just recently bought a 2009 ACR. I just couldn't resist the zero percent and the discount for such a great car! I would make the same decision again. If you are willing to pay for one of the really special 2010's and can get your hands on one, I certainly can't fault you for waiting. I was...
I have the same color combination in an ACR. Also black seats and black dash. I've had it a couple of weeks. It really is an incredible color combination.
I think violet was in low demand for two reasons. Late in the model year (people didn't want to wait) and the Dodge website gave a totally inaccurate and unflattering portrayl of the color. It is a spectacular color in person. I agree with an earlier comment -- unless you are moving into some...

I was curious as to whether there are final production numbers for the '08 viper violet. I know that Bill Pemberton thought it would be the rarest viper ever. Does anyone know the final breakdown -- total, coupes, verts, ACRs?
My concern is that Chrysler would take the position that the Belanger exhaust system's installation on the car voids the warranty on the vehicle -- period. I take it from your comment that at least Chrysler doesn't take that position. Is that correct?
