This system was built 2 years ago in a 2002 RT-10. It is the same as our DIY TT system that we build now except it has the upgraded air/water option for intercooling. The Viper we built it on 2 years ago was totalled by the owner within the 500 mile breakin period. It was never finished tuned...

Yes they're similar, but yours are hybrids and newer. Build the bottom, get some better flowing heads, retune and stretch their legs. I'm sure you'll make power on the street that will keep you satisfied for a long time :2tu:

    My Viper's counterpart...Jr. Viper

Re: My Viper\'s counterpart...Jr. Viper Cuda, Nice SRT-4. I had one as a daily driver for 50,000 miles and had kept it completely stock. Never even changed to agressive brake pads. My goal was learning front wheel drive on a road course and the SRT-4 was a great and reliable machine with no...

    SVS - N/A - 600rwhp 600rwtq

Russ Need some time to put together the pricing for duplicating this package. I believe we will be able to offer the Motec engine management system at a significantly lower price after making the harness plug and play. thanks

    SVS - N/A - 600rwhp 600rwtq

The cam isn't radical and it idles like stock. Sounds like it just has a throaty exhaust. The responsive feeling on the street is incredible. If I was going to build myself a street Viper it would be N/A. Build the botom end with a little more compression, Striker "race" heads, solid cam and...

    SVS - N/A - 600rwhp 600rwtq

Thanks JD The heads are the JM Striker "street" head. They list for $6600 but you need to look at how these are priced: The heads themselves are $4600 with no core charge. The Jesel rockers and pushrods are another $2000. You can keep your stock heads or sell them and make back some $. For...

SVS First Flex Fuel Viper - E85/93 V10

If you're unable to change your fuel or spark control running your engine then adding e85 will do nothing for you. Did you nitride coat your engine parts since your adding e85? COP Increases the spark :2tu: I know they work but more people go for looks rather than performance.

Anyone install an SVS Shifter? Do you need to drop the tranny to install?

Re: Anyone install an SVS Shifter? Do you need to drop the tranny to install? Thank you for the reply Jeff. I was mainly interested in defending that the correct information about our shifters was presented to our customers on this thread. I don't care if he comments here or not because it's...

Anyone install an SVS Shifter? Do you need to drop the tranny to install?

Our machine shop that is exclusive to SVS makes these shifters completely from SCRATCH. We created these for the Viper and they're not a generic B&M. All the pieces are machined in house and other small parts are purchased from McMaster Carr or similar. Who is the SO-CALLED reliable tuner...

Anyone install an SVS Shifter? Do you need to drop the tranny to install?

Jeff, We have been supporting the Viper community for 10 years. We have also been making our OWN shifters for the Viper for over 7 years. Our shifters fit Gen1, 2 and 3. As I mentioned to you in the email that I sent we have been waiting for 1 piece to arrive so the shifters can be assembled. I...

    Hogan SRT-10 crash video

Now that wasn't so bad looking. Seemed like he was a little pissed and drove it like he stole it  His reactions are still a little slow in the transitions and he needs to carry the momentum better while keeping the tires smoked up. I'm sure he's going to improve. I don't know that...

    Hogan SRT-10 crash video

He's got the green and the name Hogan to pursue this passion. Good for him and good for the attraction of the eyeballs that will check it out because of his name. When it comes to driving, drifting or racing the Viper he's got a long way to go. Maybe he's skeered of the Vipers power? What's...

Things I learned at VIR Viperdays 2006

Using your transmission to slow you down on a roadcourse is a bad habit that you don't want to promote. Your Viper became a lawnmower because of that and not because the brakes don't have enough in them to slow you down. Brake pads are much cheaper than repairing your transmission from undue...

Things I learned at VIR Viperdays 2006

Nice write up! Viperdays has always been a great event to learn what your Viper is capable of on a roadcourse. Did you mean to say "isn't" part of the braking system?
