Yep, just pops out. Start at the bottom and get the velcro loose and slowly pull it up. Make sure that you still have all the metal clips on yours. That could make it not stay down too.
Pretty sure that is "viprvenm" and he has stripes. I think I can see them there.

I'm pretty sure it's the Fitzgerald dealer installed package. Very minimal mods if I remember correctly. Something like roller rockers, exhaust, gears and air filters.
Hopefully you have a lot of bridges to hide under. It takes several minutes to get that top assembled and on the car. The windows aren't that bad, but if you're in a hurry those metal tabs that go in the door look like paint scrapers. You may want to think about a Gen II just to get the roll...
Most of that is due to the fact that you don't want to hurt your baby. If this was your daily driver you would have cut the tubes in half with a hack saw and duct taped them back together. I found the more I worked on the car the less I was afraid of screwing it up.
Do you guys really use the a/c in a roadster? I had the top and windows in once, other than that open top and sun. You guys must be closing them up and driving around. Mine had it and I never used it.:dunno:
I think ebay defaults ABS on all Viper listings.
The early cars that do not have AC just have a little black sticker over the snowflake on the controls. You can still add it if you find a wreck with all the parts. As far as I know the kits are all long gone.
You can see the sticker in his pick.
Here is what I did on mine. I had to grind a flat side into the washers for the rivets to make them work. I can't say it is a great solution since I hate to cut anything up. But it did work perfect.

Bigger pics.
Double check the remote terminal just for grins. I'm sure Chuck would have checked it, but the wing-nut can work loose. And yes, I would agree that a dying battery could cause the alarm to do all kinds of things.
