Re: Looking for pics of a Red SRT with SSR\'s.
How do you like them in general?
I have been thinking about going with the SSRs as they seem to be a good wheel for street with a little more than the occasional track day thrown in.
Are those the 18" with the e-brake relocation? How has your...
I know there have been a few failures due to starvation at Willow Springs from the long left-hander. It was recommended to me that anyone who hits the course aggressively should have the comp coupe oil pan.
I'm getting one next month.
Check JonB at Partsrack.com
Size 13 desert issue combat boots on a daily basis. Barefoot or flip-flops on the weekends.
I like the dead pedal and don't have a problem, although when driving barefoot it can sometimes get too hot to use.
I think you are making it more complicated than need be. Just take the car in and have a 3.55 installed. No need to buy a whole new pumkin.
The 3.55 is the best mod I have done. While they are in there go with a Quaife.
Re: Viper moving
The firepower looks pretty upmarket to me, with the fancy interior, automatic tranny and all the comfy leather. It looks like a potential Aston Martin if you just change the badging.
The Viper should never move "upmarket." It is a car meant to be raw, and if you want to...
OK, back on track.
I have had my SRT sitting pretty low on Aldans for the past year. While I liked the look, it just didn't feel right so I am going back to stock.
I dropped the car off yesterday to have the stock suspension reinstalled. If you are going to do it spend the money to do it...
OK, I'll bite. So what have you done?
You have stated that you excelled in basic training and that the DI enjoyed having you around. What else?
If this is your entire identity I would like to know what you are basing it off of? How long were you in? When were you in? What did you do (and...
I think what it comes down to is that a lot of us have served or are currently serving. We have a tremendous amount of respect for the people who give their time and potentially lives to the service of this country. If I would have made it through Marine Corps boot camp is immaterial, I never...
Sorry, infectious disease / tropical medicine specialist. Deployed multiple times to Africa and Southeast Asia, including some time with the Marines in Congo.
Your identity consists solely of grandiose exploits attained in a bygone time. I would bet you truly believe the fetid stench you...
DevilDouche, you state you were a Vietnam Era Marine; however, I notice how you use the Era but will not state that you served in Vietnam??? How does one serve in the Marine Corps during war-time and not get deployed to a combat situation?
I am currently active duty, so don't give me any you...
6'3" 245, and ripped.
Well maybe not, but I was ripped when I was 25. The important part is I fit in the SRT without any problems. Don't have the lowering kit, but I may put one in at some time in the future.
155 on the back straight of Summit Point, I probably could have gotten a little faster but turn 1 comes mighty fast and you need to be at 60 or so if you don't want to be in the gravel.
