My 2004 with 5600 miles lost AC last month. I was able to take it to a Viper tech who determined it had a leaking hose, nothing major, just a sh;t happens thing.
Replaced under warranty.
Best of luck, but figuring out the AC can be tough.
From a post on the alley:
I actually had it a little lower for a while, and brought it back up a little. I am extremely impressed with the Motons. No clacking or bottoming out as on the KW's, and the car tracks straight as an arrow.
I don't have the KW's but I have ridden in a SRT with them. The ride quality is great and they are adjustable, so the drop is what you want.
If you are going to run your car hard, then stay away from the Aldan's. Stock drives much better.
The problem is there are many of us that would like a little more downforce at the track or at speed without having to look like a Jay Leno partial birth abortion.
Don't even get me started about the rear, there has to be some sort of option aerodynamically other than a wing you could land a...
I guess it's all how you are built. I am the exact same size as you (6'4" 235 - 240 and broad shouldered) and have not had any problems. Sure the seats are tight, but that's what you want in a sports car.
They are currently on the car and I am switching them out.
If you are just going for looks that is fine, but I have been hitting the track more and they just don't cut it.
1) A real rollbar and No Run-Craps
2) Quaife differential
3) Dry Sump engine
4) Only on damm cat per exhaust
5) Rear exhaust
6) Motons Stock
7) Less Weight
8) More Power
Re: DC Please build a street version or anyone please build a kit for me!!!
What about weight? Are the panels you will be building comparable to the stock ones?
Thanks for reminding me Brian, and please don't take this post as in any way meaning I am not 100% happy with the car.
I knew about the aldans but they had held up relatively well on less challenging tracks.
I had the car aligned right away, but liked the look of the lower stance. Now I am...
Yep, that track is made for a miata or lotus. I never had a chance to put down the power.
I do like the other track a lot better.
I don't want to spend the money on the Motons right now, so if nothing seems to work I may go back to stock, but I'd like to keep the lowered look without breaking...
I think they were either set up for the drag or for street/bling factor, but I'm not sure just how adjustable they are.
Even when driven pretty hard, 5000 miles in 2 years seems to be a little short for the life-span of a coilover setup, but I may be wrong. I didn't have these problems last...
I am having some issues with bottoming out. I think my springs may be too soft and need some advice.
One of my problems is that I bought the car with 2400 miles on it and it already had a set of alden coilovers, but I have no idea what type of spring I'm running. The crappy part is I really...
I think the startech one looked like crap.
However, I think if done properly with new side sills that are seamless and rear bumper and pipes that look like the Jeep SRT8, it would look fantastic.
It has definately been a thought, but I am concerned with what to do with the side sills afterward.
If it doesn't look like OEM afterward I think it really takes away from the car.
Can you also post pics of what it looks like coming out the back?
Thanks
