We have friends in Pecos and every summer we try and get out there and see them. We also have friends in Ft Davis who have invited us up there several times. Love Balmoreah St park and go there when we can. Just so far from here. Do y'all ever go east?
I like it loads. I think it is one of the finer points of the car. Sabelt also does Ferrari interiors. Can't comment yet about how it wears but I am definitely impressed with the look and comfort at this point.
I'll bust out the cover in the next couple of days. For right now it is still in the box. When I get it on the car I will take a picture and post it so you can see what it looks like. Nice taste, pretty much exactly how I would have ordered it. BTW, it really sparkles in the sunlight. Maybe not...
Hey there, small world... Yes, kept the ACR, don't think I'll ever sell it, just has too many of my personal touches all over it plus at 700+ HP, it's a hoot to drive and race.
Thanks Tony. I read up on that last weekend and think I have it down. Gonna try and set that up this morning along with pairing my phone and getting the garage door opener set up.
Thanks. And yes I did get it from Woodhouse, worked with Bill Pemberton who of course is great to work with. It was a custom order from another customer of his who did not want to wait for it and bought another car before this one came in. Pretty much had everything I was looking for so I...
Well I guess I have joined in. Took delivery of my Gen V GTS yesterday evening and of course am a little overwhelmed with the bells and whistles compared to my '99 ACR. Took her for a stroll last night and felt like a fish out of water what with cruise control and cup holders. LOL It did have a...
I can't speak to clutch performance in the newer Lambos but in my 98 VT Roadster, neutral at stop lights was mandatory if you wanted to avoid severe leg shake. LOL Talk about a tractor clutch! The Viper clutch is WAY more leg friendly at stop lights.
Wow, that was intense. LOL I can't believe the guy could not tell the difference in smell between tire smoke and clutch disc smoke. It was not a good day to be him.
Agreed. It is hard for me to believe that the G5 hood could be less than the CF hood on my GT-500 KR which sells for $16K. That the G5 hood could be less expensive seems especially unlikely given that there is considerably more material on the G5 hood than that of the GT-500 KR hood. --Paul
That's great and sounds like a ton of fun. My Diablo was in a video a few years ago but I don't think it ever made it to MTV or anything. lol Take care, my friend.
Out from underneath the pressure of the ranch we did some serious traveling. Got that out of our system some now and back to the basics, hot rods and grandkids. lol Excited about getting the new Gen V and already planning some road trips with it. So how is the movie making business, still at it...
Hey Makara! Been all over the place. Sold the game ranch a couple of years ago and Tammie and I have been traveling, working, playing with cars and generally goofing off. I still have the '99 ACR but in the meantime Tammie traded her Z06 for a Shelby GT-500 KR and I thought I better step it up...
Speaking of videos...... Can someone PLEASE post a video of themselves polishing on their Viper. Preferably shot in the rear view mirror.
Now that could be a huge hit!
Hey Doc, there will be a few of us in San Angelo at Wall Dragway October 26th. Several Vipers, several Vettes and an abundance of F-bodies. You are sure welcomed to attend that!
Let me know if you want information.
BTW, San Angelo is a four hour drive from the DFW MetroPlex.
