How do you know the trim pieces are pure CF? Got a picture of the back of any of these parts? I do not see any depth to the weave which is usually easy to spot. I hope I am wrong here of course.
How creative, a Harley with two extra wheels, LMAO. The design should be used for a tattoo on the owner instead of the poor car or if it must be on the car, using watercolors.
Isn't calling this a carbon interior a stretch? This seems like SRT added CF accents to the interior instead of entire parts like dash and console. Do you know if these are real CF pieces, CF veneer or hydrographics? At least in the pictures, it is difficult to tell, especially since the...
Hah, I guess I do not have to modify the tweeter pods after all. I had a solution sitting in one of my cabinets for all this time and apparently all I had to do was to go through my stuff once again. This time, I made sure the passenger side will work which it does, including correct aiming...
Runflats have very stiff sidewalls and are very heavy, I would say you notice the difference right away. Hopefully nobody has the first generation of tires on their car due to safety reasons, rubber deteriorates with time and even with garage queens, tires should be changed at the minimum every...
Nah, secured enough, more like frustrated with myself for not being able to come across in a better way :D I think paper actually confirms the improvements but what I meant was that in spite of the cars looking about the same, the number of little changes added up to something that definitely...
Do some reading about torque tubes and why they are superior to conventional drive shafts-this should give you a pretty good idea what takes place:2tu:
Are you mocking me? Gen 4 is technologically advanced over Gen 3 all around and yes, you can FEEL it (it is called driving experience). Oh and I am not knocking Gen 3 here, just stating personal observations.
There actually is no debate here unless you want to debate facts.
Let me try to be objective here since I drive both Viper and Vette: Corvette got its game started long time ago, look up who Zora Duntov was (ZR in ZR-1 and ZR1 stands for ZORA RACING) with the ORIGINAL 1963 Z06, back in the...
I would check this part for sure, the sensors have batteries in them, would be a bit long. I believe vpa also sells the sensors that can be preprogrammed to match your car, without a need to go to the dealer to have them reset. All you have to do is have the dealer download the current sensor...
That would be the way to do it, driving Gen 4 and figuring out if it suits you better. The values are higher because it is a newer car and it apparently depreciates less than Gen 3. :2tu: If you mod out your car, you will never see this money back should you decide to sell the car in the...
The differences between Gen 3 and Gen 4 can be felt more than seen. Have you driven both at the same time? These differences can be felt, at least I felt them and not in a subtle way.
Stock vs stock, Gen 4 is a better car. Unless you need a drag strip car, save your money and get Gen 4. Gen 3 may be easier to mod but unless you do a very comprehensive job and spend a lot of money, these upgrades will catch up with you eventually,.
Doubtful. Corvette has been around long before Carroll Shelby came out with the AC Cobra idea. If anything, Viper is AC Cobra and Daytona Coupe's bitch. With that said, I am personally deeply disappointed with the turn new corvette took and will look somewhere else for my C6 replacement.
If you still have the run flats, you should swap them to currently offered tires due to age. If the tpms sensors are the original ones, you should change them as well because their batteries are past their anticipated lifespan.
If you are serious about it, getting a used one, even if it is messed up somehow, practicing on one may be a good way. I personally would be more interested in halo rings and getting rid off or tinting that hideous amber corner piece but this is just me... I agree that LED strips are more like...
