Vipers In Snow, Post your snow pictures!

That made my day, S2K1! I noticed the Go Pro Hero mounted to it. Will you upload that video to YouTube? Where can I find it? Those pictures are amazing!

    Show your coolest license plates!

Yeah... that is positively the coolest garage I've seen. So simple. So clean. Nice plate too! My favorite plate I've seen (it was in a photograph) was FKRZFST on a Corvette. I can't justify putting that on my own car as much as I wanted to. I just got regular-people plates for the Viper...

New owner 2002 Final edition, ive been bitten!

Yeah, it's weird when people film you as you're... driving to work... But they don't know that. They saw a neat car! I still plant my face to my window when other Vipers (or other cool cars) drive by. Even when I'm in mine. :)

Need Expert Suggestion for my 1997 GTS that is coming on Monday

Klamathpro, Those wheels look great! You didn't have them on there when we met last year did you?

WTB: 2nd Generation RT/10 or GTS

I'm curious though, now that the GTS came into the discussion. What would a 1996 or 1997 GTS be worth in ratty, high-mileage (but 100% functional) condition? Something to be used exclusively at the track.

WTB: 2nd Generation RT/10 or GTS

You're opening your horizons a bit now which should make it easier for you to find something. Careful about letting your budget creep up. Don't let emotion toy with logic. If you figured out that $30,000 was the highest you'd pay for a Viper, don't cave and jump up to $40,000 because it'll hurt...

New Paint on my 95 Rt/10

I like the emblem. Otherwise, I think it looks like a person without a nose. :) What are the "Add Content" responses all about?

    HVAC Question

Hah, whaaaaaa? But... but... why would they do that? That's like, the best place for heat! I'm happy that it isn't broken though! Thank you for your reply!

    HVAC Question

Armed2012's question about his air conditioner reminded me that I had a question about the HVAC system on my '94 RT/10. When I bought it last September, I noticed that the heater didn't seem to work. As the weather got colder, I got sadder--that is, until I realized that heated air would come...

    Please help with air conditioning

Does it feel really cold, or just cooler than the air in the cabin? Have your system checked to make sure it is not leaking. It could just be low on refrigerant.

Convince Me! Gen I vs Gen II

Thank you for posting that video, by the way. I won't see or hear mine for a while still (stupid winter just won't end) and I almost forgot how completely bonkers these things sound idling (and doing everything else). I actually put on my headphones to hear it better! :)

Convince Me! Gen I vs Gen II

Dude, if you're looking for us to say "buy generation I (or II) because it is a logical, rational choice", you will never get an answer. Buying a Viper of any generation is far from logical and definitely not rational if your objective is transportation. I would defer you to the Toyota Prius...

Gen 2 worth the money even if Gen 1 is modded?

I bought a Gen I on purpose. I like side pipes, removable windows, and no exterior door handles. Also, I like the three spoke wheels. If you want glass windows and exterior door handles, you might consider a Gen II. You're going to love whatever you choose though, so enjoy the hunt for the right...

10 Most iconic Cars of the Past 25 Years

Honestly, I can see how a lot of those got up there. Maybe not the Aztek, but definitely the Prius. I don't have one and I don't want one, but it revolutionized the way economy was done. Also... I really do enjoy driving them when I get the chance to. I think the industry is moving on now with...

    Keepin 95 Alive Build

This car is going to look great! I have been following your thread closely since you started. I appreciate that you use a format for uploading your photos that my work computer can read because I'm at work 13 hours a day every single day--this has been a godsend. It seems as if my work computer...

Is 1500 rpm ok for cruising in 6th gear?

OK, truth. Buuuuuut..... other than great gas mileage (hah, well... great is a matter of perspective eh?), there's a hidden bonus to this. Driving the car like a slow car helps you forget how damn fast it really is. Then, when you do your "Hang on, watch this!" run it's all the sweeter...

Big Dude in Viper Gen II

Slightly off-topic here, but are Gen I pedals adjustable too? From the factory, that is. Just curious. Good for you making the car work for you!

Is 1500 rpm ok for cruising in 6th gear?

My manual suggests 50 or 55 (I can't remember which one) for 6th gear usage. It's burbling along pretty happily at around 1,000 RPMs there.

Some Pictures Before I Left the Country

Oh, I'm not actually in the military. Sorry if I gave that impression. Just general government civilian work. I'm in Southwest Asia. I still can't get the pictures to upload with the web tool. I just tried uploading them to Photobucket.com, because they used to be a really nice website, but...

Well, I have some sort of quota for how many pictures I can upload. I'll try to shrink some of the other pictures down a bit tomorrow maybe.

Some Pictures Before I Left the Country

Well, here I am thousands of miles away from home for the foreseeable future missing my family, my house, and of course the Viper. (Life is good, not complaining!) I thought I'd throw up some pictures of the monster before I go to bed here. I washed it before I left. And detailed it. And waxed...

    Shelby GT500 to Viper...

I love my first generation. I bought a 1994 RT/10 from a member here and drove it from Michigan to Baltimore the same day with my dad. There isn't much to it, but the things it does have are great (like an interior light, and a radio). Having to snap the windows in and out of it hasn't gotten...

Thinking about a specific GTS what do you think?

Knowing what you're buying is important. You seem to be doing your research and that is the most important part of this whole thing. All the research I did to find mine was well-worth it (I bought it from a forum member here in September and I couldn't be happier). I don't know much about GTS...
