    2008 Viper Quality Concerns

    Unload your gun. These things are bullet proof! Best build quality of any sub $150k car. I've owned three SRT's and a few other 'exotics', save some interior amenities, the Viper is first rate in every category.

    Thinking of adding a 06 Coupe to the stable

    Now is the time to buy it seems. I think that when cars dry up over the summer and the 08's are going for $90k+ the coupes will bring more money. I'm not a coupe guy, but if I were I would think this is the time.

    That looks strong, parked. I had another car once upon a time with a similar setup and the lateral through the corners was horrible. I don't understand the tech side of it, but handling changed for the not so better. No indictment of the KW product per se.

    Re: can you order \'08\'s yet? Just a placeholder in line. My local dealer tells me that I would be third on the list. I would only buy from one the VCA sponsors but have called around to figure out the demand. One dealer did tell me to expect a $10k premium for 'market adjustments'...

    Seriously though... The prices of the SRT have come down so much I am almost thinking of not selling my 06 and using it as a daily. Why not, the thing is bullet proof and very comfortable. I say go for it. Drive it till the wheels fall off.

    Has there been a report on the number of 06's still left for sale? I hear of all these amazing deals on new cars. At least that is what folks who have called about my 06 for sale have reported. To think that you can get a 500hp vert for Corvette money is fantastic. Seems like a great time...
