    it seems with the horsepower increase you reach a point where the 4th to 5th shift becomes necessary. the 3:33 may eliminate that without going all the way back to the 3:07's. it is what I am about to try.

    Transmission?? Gen 1 thermostats are a pain but nothing to do with the transmission.

    Thanks for the input. Perhaps VR1's with Bridgestones would solve the problem. Of course, you must hope for no flats to contend with. I am glad to know that it is not just this car that has the problem, we were concerned that there may be a suspension problem we needed to figure out. Tony

    OK guys, lay it on, but, I even had Superdavz in the car on a SMOOTH two lane blacktop at 55, he couldn't believe how badly the car rode either. Is there a shock adjustment available, how much of the problem lies is the run flat tires? My GTS is much more comfortable in its ride...

    Rough riding SRT

    I have been driving an 03 SRT and the ride is terrible, very rough, interstates are enough to need a kidney belt after awhile. This car is a lot more harsh than my 01 GTS with Eibacks on it. Have other people expierenced this problem, are the shocks adjustable like the ones on our GenII cars...
