I love the gen v and agree that stripes don't add and in fact may subtract. Each to their own, but I thought the front facia on the gen lV was just okay. It reminded me of many of Dodge's lesser models. A styling theme that Porsche has carried to absurd lenghts.
Beautiful car that Infiniti. Regarding the ride height of the Ferrari, you are reading way too much into my post. Others have said that Ferrari, Lambo, ect.. get the ride height right...why can't the Viper. Well, here's an example of the latest Ferrari with ride height.
As a strong potential buyer of the new Viper I didn't realize that a poor fit was a characteristic of the car. Hmmm.....Is there anything else I need to know. This will be my first and quite frankly, I haven't seen enough in person to know about these short comings.
That shade of blue is stunning, with or without stripes. That color has moved to the front of the pack for me. If that color is not unique to the the launch model, then what are the launch customers getting besides different wheels of dubious distinction, a blue background on the stryker moniker...
Yeah I think the 0-60 times will just about be the same; however the 1/4 times should be considerably better. My (SRTs) estimates are based on what we can expect to see in the magazines. I've haven't seen any of the major rags test the gen IV at anything above 123 mph +/-.There will be skilled...
The latest car and driver said they would be testing the new Viper...so hopefully we'll see it in the October or November issue. I believe we'll see numbers consistent with pre production estimates of 0-60 in 3.4/3.5 and 1/4 mi. in 11.4/11.5 at 128/129 mph. With a 49/51 distribution weight we...
By race end they were three laps behind the class leaders. There's much work to be done and the field is extremely competitive. Adjustments with drag and downforce will certanly help
No doubt, but is the Viper that unique of a car that a competent mechanic can't work on it....
No you are mis-interpreting my comment, I am skeptical based on everything I've read here....just trying to understand the degree of complexity of working on a Viper.
Agreed and time will tell.
I'm having a difficult time wrapping my head around why the Viper is a difficult car for a mechanic to service. Am I missing something here? Seriously, I want to know. The idea of Ferrari as an authorized dealer for the SRT Viper would surely solve the Denver area problem, but why would Ferrari...
