    Mitch, You sound like Beavis and Butthead, "fire, fire, fire"!!! I actually had a video of my car with the old exhaust on(no cats) and blue flames shooting out on decel after a 3rd and 4th gear pull. I will see if I can dig it up!

    No broken dishes, I warned my wife and my two other daughters before we shot the video. I told my daughter who took the video it was going to be really loud, but you can see she still jumped once it fired. She laughed for a good 10 minutes afterward.

    i have looked at the stock mounts and they look fine. Any way to tell if they are "sagging", and is it harder to change the mounts or dimple the header pipes??

    i don't think paint will be an issue, the collector flange ends up just inside of the opening of the frame, so the exhaust should shoot straight out the side of the car. The side sill will not be on of course.

    Any suggestions for header bolts? Also, any tricks for sliding the collector on the individual runners once the runners are installed? That looks to be a bit tricky.

    thanks Brad. I am installing the headers myself, and then I will probably talk to Chris about fine tuning the VEC. thanks Frog, the powdercoater did a great job, cost me $100 bucks! He is a great guy, does great work, and is very reasonable.
