    replacing fuel grommet

simple, take off the rear wheel, remove the black plastic fasteners in the wheel well, and carefully bend back the inner fender liner enough so you can remove the vent tube and slide the filler neck out.

    replacing fuel grommet

You have to remove the filler neck first, and then you should be able to remove the grommet and install the new one into the tank. Getting the filler neck off is a fun little task in itself.

    Walbro 255, what else??

tree, let me know the exact part number that you used. Walbro has a ton of 255 pumps, i just put a 340 in my car today, and that fixed my issue, amen!! Its so nice when a plan comes together. Putting the tank bank in an RT/10 is a pain though, jesus. TI did not say when the problem started...

    Walbro 255, what else??

Update, just spoke to TI Auto, who makes the Walbro, and there is known issue with the F20000169 pump. They are not shipping them currently until they fix the issue, which will be 2-3 weeks. Anyone have any thoughts on a similar in tank pump? martyb

    Walbro 255, what else??

Have my tank out, going to replace the Walbro pump that is less than a year old, which was installed by PBJ. Anything else I should replace while I have the tank out? I cannot believe this pump only lived for about 1800 miles. martyb

    o2 sensors Gen 1

All right, before I start the tank removal, just wondering if my low fuel pressure could be the MSD BAP? Any way to test it? I would hate to remove the tank and replace the pump, only to find out it was not needed. Also, any tips on tank removal? martyb

    o2 sensors Gen 1

Thanks Tom, yeah, its a fun job for sure!! I am hoping the filter will fix the problem, but I am not holding my breath. If its the pump, I am wondering if it is still under any warranty, hmmmm

    o2 sensors Gen 1

All right, my issue is fuel pressure. I am going to try Tom's suggestion and replace the filter, but I am guessing its the pump. PBJ just put in a Walbro 255 less than a year ago, and I have driven the car about 1800 miles since the install. Are these pumps that weak??

    o2 sensors Gen 1

99R/T10 Had the MSD wires from Sean, just replaced them with new wires from Tator, along with new plugs and O2 sensors. One thing I forgot to mention, the Walbro 255 pump that pbj installed is really singing once the car warms up. I can really hear it when the car is running, even at idle...

    o2 sensors Gen 1

by the way, 1/2 throttle is still fine, only under more than 1/2 throttle does is miss.

    o2 sensors Gen 1

2 new O2 sensors installed, car is still missing when warmed up. I can tell it is very rich(burns your eyes, popping on decel). Thinking of trying to replace the MAP sensor. Would a faulty MAP, TPS, cam or crank sensor cause a rich condition? martyb

Viper - Gen one vs Gen two at track

I have a Gen 1 Roe 10#, rockers/heads/cam. I put down about 200 more rwhp than a stock gen 2, so at the drag strip it shouldn't even be close. Gen 2 has better suspension though. martyb
