    Tie Rod grease boots

    Why would I need an alignment by just taking the tie rod out of the knuckle assembly, replacing the boot, and putting it back together?? I am not changing anything other than the rubber boot.

    Ball Joint Tool

    Anyone local to Chicagoland have the Miller 4150 tool for breaking the ball joints loose? I am replacing the ball joint seals because they are cracked. I have a tool that is close, but the lower ball joints are a pain and I want to ensure I use the proper tool so I don't damage the aluminum...

    My wife and I take my GTS out all the time, she never has told me she didn't enjoy time in the car(except when going sideways in 2nd gear).

    I have seen the SL65 run 125-128mph trap speeds with just a tune, hard to believe an almost stock GTS will run with one. I'm with Phil.

    It has about 32000 miles, I drive it alot during summer. It gets cleaned every time it leaves the garage.

    torque and sequence for valve cover bolts

    most people over do it when tightening the valve cover bolts, not sure on the specs though. I want to say my 01 is Gen 2 is 95 inch pounds.

    The missing link is the nitrous shot Mopar Steve. He never mentioned how much. If he's shooting 200 or more, I guess its possible but there are still a bunch of variables like you said. I know my GTS can run about 125mph in the 1/4, if he were closer maybe we would just see :)

    Not to nit pick, but is that 520hp to the wheels or flywheel?? Small block or not, 520 is low. How much underdriven is the blower?

    Easy answer, get the Woodhouse mounts. I did them on my old RT/10 and they worked perfectly.
