Hey Riverflyer -
You mean like this...
My cost 4 years ago was on the order of $2500 for stock (not aftermarket) Gen I side sills, paint to match, two 3" bullet mufflers.
I've had the good fortune / pleasure of doing all 3 over the past two years, Panoz school at Sebring, Barber school and ViperDays at MidAmerica.
ViperDays rookie experience was far and away the best. Downside - IF you want to call it that - is you use your own car. In my opinion, that was the...
Hello Axe,
Just saw your post, sorry I missed it before...
No, in my case, all "cold" start hiccups are gone. These went away completely after getting a VEC2 card update back at the end of May. Now I notice the car runs just a bit more rich for just a bit longer (according to my VEC1 A/F...
Hello Larry,
You have mail!
Sign me up! My Roe S/C is installed and running pretty good, but I'd be very interested in having you fine tune my setup...
In fact, I already have the injectors for the 8 psi pulley on the car... If we make this happen, sounds like the perfect time to step up!
I'm pretty sure I know what you mean... Flipping back and forth is pretty tedious if you are only using a single browser window.
Sometimes using the "BACK" button will get you back to the post you were working on - but not always (just my experience).
I think the easiest way to do this (make...
I'll acknowledge up front I'm a fan of JonB and PartsRack...
And I just bought $4000 worth of wheels and tires...
And I was asked if I could hold while he finished up with another customer first...
In my experience with JonB, it's been first come, first served, $27 or $4000...
I had the SmarTire system on my car for a while...
You'll have to re-balance wheels/tires with the new sensors attached. A good idea anyway since the tires just got R&R's.
Worked fine as long as roads were dry...
On my car, when roads got wet and tires cooled, I got all kinds of alarms...
You'll need to scroll down about half way, but here are some details...

Based on the newsletter and the flyer I received last week, I think the autocross is all there will be - as far as driving events go.
Re: Roe SC 709RWHP/729RWTq M2 Tuned
Hey Larry,
Actually my car runs respectably with my Roe SC (although I'm still working on a couple of issues), but you've obviously got the magic touch. And a serious reputation for excellent work.
There are three of us with ROE SC's here in Denver and...
I'm not really a fan of the new car either, but this is cheating just a little.
If the Viper picture (the one on the bottom!) were from the same low rear angle and you could see the diffuser or the tire area, there would be no mistaking one for the other...
Just got back from a trip to Iowa (~1400 miles round trip + track time + commuting hotel to track...) for the Viper Days event at Mid-America.
Great folks, great fun and I'd like to do more of that, especially in a mostly Vipers forum.
So how about an event more local to Colorado? Pueblo...

You might try and contact Paul Fischer for some pictures, I think he's stll active here. He had a red GTS with side pipes and wing.
I've had sidepipes on my GTS for almost 4 years. Love 'em! Not any more loud than before. No hassles with emissions as I still have cats, mufflers and rear...
I have just under 5000 miles on my car with the Roe SC, 2000 just this last weekend driving the car to, from and at the Mid-America ViperDays event (thanks again Bob!).
Highway mileage was 19 mpg (I also have 3.45 gears), 6 on the track and 13 around town. Before SC, 23 highway and 15 town...
Hello Tony,
I have exactly that behavior. On cold start - I mean 35 to 45 Deg F outside (and about 55 in the garage where the car is parked), any throttle application responds like I mashed the brakes. On my car, this seems to happen on more than half the cold starts, but not all. When I get...
Sean,
If you are monitoring this discussion, perhaps you could highlight the major recent recommendations.
For example, I have:
1. The additional ground wire in the pin #3 / VEC2 harness and
2. the new Bosch plugs (sorry all, don't have part number at hand).
I've only had one check engine...
Detlef,
Based on your location, I'd very highly recommend you call Jim Slater at Johnson Auto Plaza in Brighton, 303 654 1940. I've not worked with that dealer, but I do think very highly of Jim. If you're not certain of your local guy, definitely worth at least a call...
