Good Evening Eric,
Sent you an e-mail with pictures. Also loaded the pic to my gallery on this site.
With the flash, the pics look a little "off", but they are a perfect macth to stock Viper silver. I'd be more than happy to provide a couple of local VCA contacts if you wanted some one to...
Hi Eric,
I've already put my stock side sills back on. And I don't mean to sound presumptuous, but were I you, I'd keep my Gen II sills. If memory serves, they list for ~3600 EACH and the Gen I pieces were close to 18-1900 ea.
I'll e-mail you tonight with pics.
Anyone care to comment on...
Hello Eric,
Yes, I do have the side exhaust sills. They are in reasonable shape, no dents - that I recall anyway. They do have ~20000 miles normal wear and some yellowing so they are not really ready to just bolt on...
If interested, I'll go take some high res pictures for you.
Joe
I like the extra injector idea...
One downside to the water kit is it's one more maintenance item to check. Be curious to see what size reservoir, where it's installed and how long it lasts - and I know that will vary a lot based on driving habit!
But will I pony up some more money for...
From a former sidepipe junkie...
Definitely a meaner look to the car. Be prepared for some extra noise, the cabin will be louder...
After 4 years, I've just gone back to rear exhaust...
I have a similar experience to my friend with the yellow Roe SC car.
Only difference was I went to the Viper Days at Mid-America a week or two later. If memory serves, May 03 in Council Bluffs Iowa was pretty toasty, 85 - 90 and humid.
Drove the car ~600 miles to / from the event and Saturday...
Ahhh... But you have! You are very welcome.
Good luck with whichever car you purchase.
Blast! I took a close up of the exhaust tips and forgot to upload it! I'll do that tonight. Sorry.
At 6000+ ft in altitude, going from stock to the Roe SC with a 5psi pulley was a BIG kick in the pants!
Going from 5 psi pulley to 8psi was ok, but not a huge difference in driving-around perception. Maybe at the dragstrip...
Either 5 or 8 psi pulley and the car is very civilized! No...
Hello Craig,
I had a look at the 2001 Saphire RT/10 (Congac interior) at EuroSport this afternoon. Overall, I'd rate the car excellent, but not perfect - the imperfections are, however, pretty minor. At least that's my opinion.
I should add that all the panels fit like they are supposed...
I have one of these vaccuum pumps just sitting on a shelf.
I have a very simple installation question for you... Does your vent line run to a catch can somewhere? How much oil do you see?
Many thanks,
Joe
In our cars - at least those with the cats - the side sills are hotter when the mixture is richer because the catalytic converters are burning off more hydrocarbons.
If you don't need / want the A/F gauge (I still use it with my VEC 2) I have one.
A/F gauge still available from Roe @129.
I don't see a VEC 1 listed anymore.
Please make an offer if interested.
I have Archers ABS retro-fit system on my 98 GTS and - with all due respect to others posting here - believe it was some of the BEST money I've spent on my Viper for all-round, all-weather street and limited track performance.
My system including new 6 piston front calipers was well under...
txlen,
Have a look at:

The pictures may (or may not)...
Jack - have you looked at Autometer part #15012?

Picture in the link does not show Dodge part, but it fits and looks great, where none of the A-Pillar solutions do (IMHO!).

GraphiteGTS,
He's pulling your chain! Mustang II's never saw a 460 - not from the factory... In fact, darned few Mustang II's even had 5.0L (302CID) V8's. Most were pretty pukey 4's or 6's.
To tell the truth, I'd be afraid to ride in - let alone drive hard - a $6000 Mustang II with a 460...
Ron,
My car runs just fine with the Roe SC and stock cats back in. If I've "lost" a couple of HP out of 600+, I definitely don't feel it!
And I could have been more specific... I have stock cats, but they have been opened up to 3" on both ends - I guess that means they aren't "really"...
I had 18000 miles on my 98 GTS prior to installing my Roe SC. I now have 31000 miles on the car. 13000 trouble free ear-to-ear grinning miles later, I'd do it again in half-a-heartbeat!
My .02 apply ONLY if you live in an emissions testing city / county / state...
I had a VERY difficult time making my 98 GTS / Roe SC w 7psi pulley and larger injectors with high-flow cats pass our local (Colorado) emissions test (really a dyno test with a "sniffer" stuck up the exhaust pipe -...
