Has anyone bought from Rocky Mountain Eurosport?
Is anyone from Denver, near Glendale?

They have a 2001 Sapphire RT/10, vin v702951. Say only 2K miles. Wonder if it's in perfect condition. Since I'm in Michigan, this is a hike.

I bought my current GTS from them earlier this year. It's a small operation that deals in higher end cars mainly. They have an indoors only showroom to keep the cars safe. Pre-sales was a good experience. Went for a test drive, liked it, had it inspected and bought it after some negotiating. They still owe me a key and the owners manual. It's been 4 months and nothing yet on those two items. Since they are minor, I'll given them a B+ grade.

No first hand experience with them, but they are close...

If you want someone to go look at the car, I'd be happy to...

Joe, I'd like to take you up on that. They say the car is absolutely stock and perfect with 2K miles. The picture appears to have different exhaust tips though.

I think of perfect when even the bottom of the front facia doesn't have a scratch which is nearly impossible and of course, the rest of the car is perfect. I'd like to know if anything has been touched, anything modified, etc., etc.

I'd be happy to oblige...

I'm at the office right now, but will take a look before the end of the day. I'll get back to you 7-ish (local time).

Hello Craig,

I had a look at the 2001 Saphire RT/10 (Congac interior) at EuroSport this afternoon. Overall, I'd rate the car excellent, but not perfect - the imperfections are, however, pretty minor. At least that's my opinion.

I should add that all the panels fit like they are supposed to. Nice even gaps everywhere - hood, doors, decklid, headlights. No obvious evidence the car has ever seen the inside of a body shop.

Here is a picture of the car (I hope!):

And if not, here is a link...

And if not, you can see it in the Membership Gallery under my name, Joe Dozzo. I've also uploaded some other pictures trying to show the few flaws I found.

1. Car has 2468 miles on the odometer and appears to be in excellent condition, inside and out.

2. Worst "blemish" is on front fascia. You can see where a previous driver made light contact with a pole (?). Shows up in one of the pictures. Some cracking, but most paint still intact. This description is worse than the blemish!

3. There are a couple of small (perhaps 1/4 - 3/8 in long) scratches in the roof, probably from storing / installing. I have a GTS, so I don't know how common this is. No picture.

4. Right rear wheel has a very small nick, maybe 3/8th inch. Not "rash", more like a "spall". I believe this is visible in one of the pictures.

5. Left rear wheel has a bit of curb rash, maybe 3" long. Also observed in one of the pictures.

6. The deck lid has a couple of very minor imperfections. You can see one just at the lower right corner of the dollar bill I placed for reference.

7. The car has been polished and several of the minor "marks" I thought I saw were just dried polish. Suffered from just a few too many hand-prints, should have been Zaino'd (at least I think that would make it show better.)

Again, the car does have some minor issues, but overall, I thought the car was in excellent condition.

Only modification appears to be smooth tubes. Dealership could not confirm K/N's...

Spoke with the shop owner, Leon V. Seems friendly and knowledgable, but also seems more geared to Porsche / BMW. On the other hand, I liked that he recognized my Audi as an RS6!

Also spoke with another customer in the shop. Leon received a very favorable review from a fellow who purportedly has bought 20+ cars from leon over the years.

I have no affliation with either purchaser / seller. Just trying to help out.

Joe, I can't thank you enough for your help here. You rock. I will report back if it is bought. THANKS! Craig

Steve, They will have to pry my hands off my 95 keys for me ever to sell it. This one is for my dad, he has a 69 M code Roadrunner and is about to move up in the world. We have 3 we areserious about so he'll probably have one in a week. Craig

Ahhh... But you have! You are very welcome.

Good luck with whichever car you purchase.

Blast! I took a close up of the exhaust tips and forgot to upload it! I'll do that tonight. Sorry.

Craig --

Great looking car.

If your dad buys it, you can get those wheels cleaned up at our Tech Day in October.
