    Is SSG worth all the BS?

    I was leery about ordering SSG sign unseen and many of my family members thought I was nuts. Let me tell you, when I picked mine up at the plant, I was completely awestruck. Vipers wear this color SO WELL. You wouldn't believe the positive comments you hear regarding the color as well...

    Since the "Launch Edition" was created for Viper loyalists like ourselves, I really wish the "Launch Edition" was the base car with the 6 vent hood rather than brute forcing us into the GTS model for $120K+ I LOVE Vipers, but that's a lot of dough...and I don't care about the extras on the GTS.

    I use OEM filters but have been tempted to use Mobile 1's....only because when the local stores run their 5qt special, they include the filter "free"!

    I'm still in WF...haven't moved yet. We could meet at the Marathon on Six Forks or up further past Durant toward 540 somewhere....wherever is fine with me. I'll be coming down 98...then taking Six Forks over across Falls Lake.

    I've bought emblems from R&J a couple times. Great quality...have been very pleased. I lean toward the solid black. Would be nice if they could get you matte black!

    Yes, it is a GTS....yellow with black stripes. The ROE is fantastic. I installed it myself and Sean really did a nice job on the system. All of the hardware is A-1 quality. Power is essentially immediate and comes on strong no matter where you are on the tach. It's a really nice system and...

    Me personally....I wouldn't be too crazy about 5 owners. I realize the car is 15 years old, but I think you may be able to find a sweet 1-2 owner car if you keep looking. If your going for the 708 cam, it will be 1999 or earlier which I love as well. Of course, it all comes down to price too...
