Help... intermittent windows
Dixter, I had problems with my drivers side only and it was the wire harness going thru the body to the door. The alarm started acting up also. The problem was the wires crack. Rookie Viper Days / Putnam Park Experience
Stock pads are ok for beginners. As you increase your speeds you will want a race pad. I've used Brakeman 3's there fine. I would not use them on the street! The work good at high temp's but they will eat your rotors running cold (street). I would not use EBC Green's on the track they will go...- Fast Viper Dan

Tire Pressure
I like to run 35 psi on the street and track. I tried different settings at Button Willow and found 35 gave the best traction without pushing. As for tire life, If your not burning them up your not having fun yet! You should get around 12k out of a set if you do a little track and auto cross...- Fast Viper Dan

Stevens Creek Dodge is your best choice in the south bay. They have serviced many of the VCA members cars. The do treat you well and they will replace your battery under warrantee. Button Willow this Thursday the 5th, lets go!
Andy, The sport shims are steel shims in-between the frame and upper a-arm in the front of the car. If you loosen the two clamp bolts and remove the shims (gold zink plated steel, 1/4" thick L shaped) this adds (?) 1 +- degrees of camber and a little tow out. Why does only one tire lock up?
Andy, I had the same problem today. I think that is normal. When you install new pads on used rotors you have uneven contact. One pad in hitting a high spot on the rotor and it wants to all of the work. It can take a couple hundred miles of street driving to match up the surfaces. Or a few laps...- Fast Viper Dan

SLOAN KWIK-LOAD TRAILERS - HELP
Gavin, If want to see it with a viper on come to our meeting at Mama Mia's this Tuesday night and after that you can stop by my house, 2 miles away and load my viper up on the trailer. Technical question on sport shims, toe settings, tie rods-
Vic, I have removed the shims once. It was at willow springs and what a difference! It dose change the toe to a neutral or little bit of toe out but I think that was designed into the car to do just that. Changing Brake Fluid - Process questions
If I remember correctly there are two bleeder points on the front calipers. Bleed the out side then the inside and then the outside again. While your in there, grease the suspension grease fittings with a grease marked for ball joints etc.- Fast Viper Dan
