It's odd that your off street driving habits have affected your on street insurance. I'd contact them and let them know you understand your coverage did not cover the racing event, so why are they concerned?
I know life insurance policies want to know about your racing but this is the first...
My prediction. The VCA limps along in the first quarter of 14 comprising one state, Florida, plus a smattering of other people spread across the US who renew and not know what's really happening. Dues will be used up within the first month providing a subsidy to VPA that cannot sustain itself...
With the cross brace being red I bet the carbon fiber valve covers would look look great under it.
Overall I'm really liking this! Need pictures out in the sun when you're done, the dark blue looks very black on my computer.
Hmm, I had always assumed based on when you got yours you were who my dealer met in Detroit for a factory pickup. There must have been another lucky person who got a factory delivery.
A friend with a 06 has a complete Belanger system on his car and I rode with him 2.5 hours back from Chicago last week.
For comparison when he's accelerating he is louder than a stock '13. But at highway cruising speeds the '13 is louder. But the deciding factor isn't the exhaust, it's the...
Tony you and I bought ours within a day of each other and I got my book last Thursday. I remember it well, I test drove John's GTS in Roanoke on a Thursday to make sure it was the right car and that I fit, he met you in Detroit on Friday for your special delivery, and then I picked up mine from...
Wouldn't it be nice with all the 3G stuff built into the cars these days that an update like this could be sent to the car directly just like an OS upgrade to your phone? Maybe in the next 10 years they will figure that out.
If the battery dies and you need to get in the car you have to go in through the trunk, replace the battery back there, and then you can access the doors and their electric handles. That is unless you're part of a circus contortion team and then you open the trunk and climb through the opening...
Re: Reached the tipping point: the stock 2013 exhaust interior dB level is unacceptab
Thanks, very good info. Once I'm closer to being out of warranty I can see myself doing this.
Re: Reached the tipping point: the stock 2013 exhaust interior dB level is unacceptab
Also I don't think my experiment with the additional sound deadener is working. It quieted the car down in the wrong way, meaning it's quieter during acceleration, there's a little less growl, but it didn't...

I don't have my calculator out, wouldn't that mean 1st gear would run up to like 70-75?
I like our 1-5th gear ratios paired with the 3.55s. But I wish 6th was .5 or even lower. And the solution is not a 7...
I just received my leather book! I only had enough time to take it out of the box and I'll just say it looks amazing.
This should answer some questions. One, I didn't order my car, so everyone who buys should get the book. And two, I've had my car for almost exactly 4 months so maybe that...
When I had a question last week I found it online in PDF format. I thought that was better than a paper copy because you can search for words in it instead of flipping pages pulling your hair out.
I'm doing a test but don't know if its made a difference yet. I have Lloyd mats in my car for the past week and on the passenger side I added some sound deadening under the last foot of the mat (the portion where you passenger would need to be 7' tall to ever touch). I also have the extra plush...
I don't think rear wheel speed is used to determine 0-60. Otherwise on the initial launch when the RPMs are holding at 6k and the wheels are spinning like crazy the system would register a 0-60 time of 0.1 seconds. My bet is either front wheel speed or an accelerometer.
The differences seem too subtle from stock for me to really tell the difference on computer speakers. I'm pretty happy with the stock exhaust, I'll just hold out until someone has a great headers/full exhaust combo that shows meaningful performance gains because I don't think I'll be changing...
I think the BOD got this one right -
When a person enters a raffle or lottery they are attesting that they are eligible to enter, it's not the responsibility of the party holding the raffle to confirm that everyone buying a ticket is eligible to enter if false information is provided. Think of...
This is my takeaway from the show. The Viper is the only production car in the US right now that could be put next to a Lambo and McLaren and look like it fits right in. Corvette? NO WAY! Not even when they come out with their uber-Vette would it look like it belongs. The placement of the...
