    If you compare a SRT to a GTS side by side you will see the difference. But if you compare a SRT to most any other car or especially to any previous gen Viper then you'll think the SRT is just fine getting the job done.

    Red seats cost the same as black leather seats on the SRT. You just cant get the matching red door panel and center console red accents, which is a shame, I love those! They really should just make leather seats standard. Was there a single car made with the base ballistic nylon or whatever...

    SO, now that the G5 is out

    Originally I liked the GTS hood more but the SRT hood has grown on me. Either way at this point I wouldn't put a GTS hood on my SRT, that reminds me too much of poser Mustang guys putting Cobra and GT500 hoods on their V6s and GTs.

    3M or not?

    Check out Xpel Ultimate instead of 3M. I had my '13 done at 800 miles and wish I had done it sooner. The side sills were already showing signs of sand blasting from the sticky tires. The film is self healing, I'm pretty impressed with it.

    Took a look at a new Gen V yesterday.

    The driving position I'm sure could be worked out, once I removed the 1" stops on the bottom of the seat I now fit perfectly in mine. I wish the shopping experience so many are reporting about was as easy as unscrewing a couple bolts... Find a local who's purchased one who's removed the stops...

    No worries there, we have hill assist! Try it out next time you are on a hill with no one behind you. The car must sense the angle of incline and it engages the brakes for a couple seconds to give you time to move your foot from the brake to gas.

    what are the best sill protectors??

    I put those SS sill protectors on mine plus used clear bra (Xpel Ultimate) on what was left of the sill. Works perfect, now I never have to worry about my wife or son scratching things when the get in/out.
