    Not specifically related, but from what I'm reading on the Allpar forums, the new SRT jeeps are flying off the lot faster than the dealers can obtain them. This is certainly good news for SRT as a brand, and hopefully good news for what's in store for the gen V

    Yeah, I'd think that the Viper would be unveiled during the Industry/press preview days. So It's probably futile to try to coordinate a time to see the unveiling unless you're a privileged member of the automotive community.

    Well they did use the 6.1 pistons in the 8.4L engine of the Gen IV so I think it would make sense for them to use the 6.4 pistons to reduce cost, especially with the new fancier interior. I wonder how spreading the platform development costs with maserati will allow an increase in comfort...

    From what I've seen the current Jeep SRT8 has been putting down the same performance numbers in the straight line and I've not heard any negative reviews about its handeling either.

    I'd say if the Z06 put down 7:20-ish times and the zr-1 a 7:19, the gen V ought to get at least in the high teens without a wing
