    clutch replacement

Just ordered this same kit. Is there anything else I should get prior to pulling it all apart? Release bearing, factory pilot bearing, factory fasteners, etc.

    Asps in Jasper

Rooms are available, just working on a better rate for us. It's not easy as the resort is closed at this time of year. Will update once I've nailed down a cost and dates.

off to the doctor - and now back from surgery!

First off, it looks great! But...Smoke?! And...What kind of carnage on the facia? Something noticable? Did they own up to it, or is it something you found later? (this is why I do as much as I can myself)

    when and what

Yep. Meet up at the Petro-Can on #1 just past the #22 overpass. Usualy quite early, 6AM:crazy2:, not much later. It puts us at the hotel well before check in, but it puts us ahead of traffic. It's a trade off. It is a blast that early through the park and what not, the bonus this time is that...

    when and what

Well, Kelowna 3rd w/e in June, should be a very good turn out for that one. SPOILER ALERT: Tenative for the 3rd w/e (alternately the 4th w/e) in July for Asps in Jasper II. When I hear back from Coast PLR about blocking out some rooms, I'll make the announcement and start a new, Asps in Jasper...

White side marker lights for GTS???

$119.16 for a used set, I'll can learn to deal with the amber! Dave, you should consider yourself lucky that you missed it, and a bit of a scoundrel that you drove the price as high as it ended!

    Asps in Jasper

I know of at least one Alberta member who is trying to get a few cars to go together to Detroit. It's a bit of a long haul from here, further even than (hi, Ted) Nimpo Lake B.C.! Still considering Asps in Japser for this July, any takers?

Best place for OEM nickle and dime trim?

That might work for awhile, but the real problem with that weatherstrip is that it is too short for the window. When the glass is at the top it interferes with the piece in question. If you manage to get it glued down, and put the window all the way up, over time it would tear the strip where it...

    Weatherstrip at top of stanchion

(I should have stated before; welcome to the VCA!) Ye$, it take$ $ome getting u$ed to, but there'$ not much of an alternative. About the DRL, I deduce that your car is a US model?

EPA to Automakers: The Horsepower War is Over.

True for the SRTs, but a 3.5L, or even 5.7L, will get much better mileage. Heck, I can squeez 28-29miles/US gallon from my 5.7L Magnum, that's about 33/Imp.gallon (does that count?).

EPA to Automakers: The Horsepower War is Over.

Zr-1 will reportedly (per Autombile Magazine) have a gas guzzler tax, the first one levied on the 'vette, when it debuts.

    Windshield replacement

Had mine done last summer. No problem getting a w/s, it did take about a week or so to get it into the shop from Detroit. There is only one source, Mopar. Had it done by a local chain type glass store. Had experience with other exotics. I took the wipers and cowl off prior to taking it in. Took...

Unflattering Comments About Our Beloved Viper

"inadequate brakes" huh? This thing will stop with or better than the F430 or the magic Z-oh6, WITHOUT ABS!!:omg: "inexplicable lack of traction control, stability control" Do they honestly think it was some sort of a cost cutting measure to leave these electro-nannies off? "Plastic...

New Viper owner - looking for missing parts

I will run a special on a group buy of heat shields!:D If they are reasonable, count me in. I have the stockers, but it would be a nice "fresh" touch under the hood. And I'll fwd my old ones to my bro', who has none on his Belanger equip'd '97.

    B-J auctions '96 gts

So, really it sold for 55K, and the buyer only gets 45K. Does this seem a little crazy to anyone but me? 10% selling fee, 10% buyers fee. It's outa wack! I doubt the seller would have taken 45K on a private sale, and the seller prob. wouldn't have paid 55K on private sale, but since it was at...

Can I check my own error codes?

I don't think so as the alarm is separate from the PCM (please, correct me if I'm wrong) having it's own "computer" Not sure how you'd hook up to that. You could at least elliminate some of the switches by getting out your multimeter and checking continuity on them> ie: when the hatch is down...

Not true. Key cycle three times, will flash codes with the check engine lamp.

    drive without sill covers?

You don't want to know. It's what's left over after they've sanded and salted the roads. The ice and snow melt leaving a fine salty layer on the roads, particularly on the shoulders, you can easily see the white crusty salt sitting there. It's gross:mad:. When you're driving around here these...
