    First Exhaust mod ...

I cannot imagine anyone taking the time and effort to do that to the muffler. No codes will come up until you remove the cats. Opt.1: Removing the side sill resonator and leaving the rear muffler will sound lousy and produce drone enough to cause hearing damage. Little change in volume level...

The Cost of Changing All Fluids

Seems quite high, but I do all of that stuff myself, as mentioned above with respect to the shop rate. Even if they had a journeyman or master doing the work (which I doubt) yours was a serious money making venture for the dealer. The more alarming thing is that it's only happening every 5...

    Garage floor paint recommendations wanted

Did U Coat It last summer, was easy enough to d.i.y. Finnished with clear and a bit of sand here and there. Super easy to clean, mop snow melt, spills etc. If I were to do anything else, I'd probably have done an extra coat of clear just for good measure.

    Jasper in June

We used the Pryamid Lake Resort in '07, it was reasonable, but no a/c. I'd be tempted to use Jasper Park Lodge, though it would be pricey, but the set up is nice and they may be able to throw a group rate our way. PLR were a bit of a pain to deal with as the resort is closed in the off season...

They swept the streets here this week, we need some rain and then it should be OK to go.

    charity show?

Toy run is great idea. Often thought about something like this, too. I was thinking along the lines of help for the food bank. Maybe just get a few Vipers together and deliver a whole bunch of donated food items to the bank, get the press out to cover it, etc. Could set it up for the Sat. AM of...

Recieved my membership package today, tags, mouse pad, etc., so hang in there, it does take time. Mag is not due out for a couple weeks, I think.

Oh, you mean on the way home. It was a bit hard to catch up, as we did stay two extra nights!

We're in. LMK if you want any help with it! The Icefields Parkway was great, no trucks and no cell coverage, but half the fun was just getting there, right?

anyone gonna be ready early april?

Could have been out weeks ago as it's been great weather-wise, but there is still some crap on the roads. Have seen a couple driving around town lately, though.

Red Deer Viper cruise nite- every night

Wouldn't a bigger pulley on the s'charger slow the compressor down? Or would it be a bigger crank pulley?

    Viper purchase went bad

Uh huh. Looks great, Ted!! Can't wait to see it in person. Targa Bambina? Rizzo, any luck finding one, yet?

    Viper purchase went bad

By the sounds of it, the kia dealer probably picked it up at the auction and figured on a splash job and to flip it for a quick buck. Hopefully no one gets taken in on this car, and Rizzo has done a service to the community by raising the flag on this car. Though I know it's of little comfort to...

Set of 4 Michilan PS2 tires $2200 good?

Competitive with JonB's price? I've tried the "buy local" thing with tires, there's no way anyone in Canada could beat his price and shipped at that! Period.

    Targa Bambina Road Rally

Is this thing still a "go"? Guess I'd better look into it, then!;) Maybe you still need a navigator? If you're planning on class 5, do you have a comp. licence of some sort? I notice on the licencing requirements and accepted list of comp. licences that PCA and BMWCA seem to have thier own...

    Question About Unbolting Injectors-'98 RT/10

Did mine once, about 4 years ago. Haven't touched them since, though if your engine gets wet, they'd probably spot up easy. A little bit of Mothers' is all I used.

Just to bump the thread, and I also wanted to mention that the VCA HQ will no longer be accepting payment directly from members, you will need to renew through the region. Thanks, all!

RT VIN 00002 Engine reunited with car

Great stoty, but not to be rude, just help me understand why wouldn't you put it in the car? Did it not get fixed for oil consumption? To me, and I'm sure a few will agree, the value of "matching numbers" is having them together...in the car! You've got at least three Vipers (per your avatar) so...

Coupe wheels fit on gen 2 viper ?

I don't see a difference, except maybe the bolt holes are larger(?). Maybe the offset is different? It's unlikely that they are perfect, as they've probably been raced, but easy enough to have them refinnished.

    1999 RT 10 Maintenance questions

On the o/f bottle, you've just got to make sure that the facia bolt (from underneath) is not touching the bottom of the bottle, some do, some don't. If it does, it can wear a hole in it over time, the results are predictable. Other than that, keep it at the proper level, though it is a bit of a...
