Re: What\'s the difference between 2000 and 2002 differential?
Hmmmm...perhaps I need to recalculate, went to public school so my math isnt so great. Randy, what speed do you average on your trips?
Vegas gets my vote! I was there for SEMA this week and its unreal the amount of attention that a Viper gets. Can you guys imagine how cool a Viper parade down Las Vegas Blvd would be?
Re: What\'s the difference between 2000 and 2002 differential?
The mileage wont be affected too much. I just drove to Vegas and back from LA and averaged about 16 mpg doing about 70-100 mph. As far as engine durabilty, I dont think a few extra RPMs are going to affect an 8.0 liter motor, its...
Re: What\'s the difference between 2000 and 2002 differential?
Personal preference I guess, I found 6th too tall for passing on the freeway. Maybe I like to get my passing done faster than you guys ;)
Re: What\'s the difference between 2000 and 2002 differential?
I know you asked Ray, but Ill chime in anyways  Get the 3.55. Feels like 40-50 hp, makes the car feel much better driving around town, youll actually be able to use 6th gear. Wish I had gotten it sooner!
HUGE difference! Feels like 40-50 hp, will really help your launches, makes 6th gear actually usable. Well worth the $850 or so. IMHO, should be your second mod after smooth tubes/filters.
Yes, go to court. Ive had 4 speeding tickets in the last 4 years both in LA and Chicago, theyve never shown up for me. The cops dont show 80% of the time. If you go to court and he does show up, dont bother fighting it, you wont win, plead guilty. Just ask the judge to reduce the fine, and go to...
Early93Viper, where do you live? Maybe the guys/gals on the forum can help you find a Viper tech in your area. Wow...I feel really lucky that I work 5 miles from Dan Cragins shop!
Nice to hear from you again Glenn, we met at DC Performances Dyno Day on Oct. 2nd. Dan will definetley be doing my install no matter which blower I decide on. If youre ever going to be at DC Performance again, send me a PM, Id love the chance to take a ride in your car before I decide which way...
From what I understand, roots blowers like the Roe have a flatter power curve versus centrifugal blowers like Paxton/Vortech which make more power linearly as rpms go up. Even though roots blowers may not always make as much peak power as centrifugals, the area under the HP curve is greater, and...
Don't forget the fire extinguisher, keep it in the passenger area for quick access, I have mine velcroed to the passenger floormat, work gloves, and perhaps a 5-gallon gas container if you have any room left.
