Jacking up a Viper on a 4 post lift????
Get a bottle jack, get a large capacity jack, put it under the wheel assemble, jack up then put a jack stand under each wheel till you get all four up and off the runway ...should be able to remove the tires...then...be careful and slow ...- past ohio

Enclosed trailer rental?? Getting car from Vegas to AB?
Not so sure I would ever "lend" someone a trailer of mine especially if they aren't regular trailer users...there are a lot of skills to learn with a loaded car trailer, as well as possible things that can happen on the open road, it takes a lot of skill to NOT run too close to another vehicle...- past ohio

convertible top
A lttle soapy water then a lot of water flush....then when completely dry, put a product like Aerospace 303 , they make a convertible top treatment/sealant, they also make a protectorant ( something like armorall) BUT a lot better and really lasts and keeps vinyl better or on dashboards, it has...- past ohio

dawn soap and clay bar
Don't do it in a warm sun, do it in the shade, and then a lot of rinsing helps to get it clean...then when dry, put on the glaze number whatever you want...- past ohio

4 post lift put in on Friday....I Love It
As with any lift, whenever moving the bed up or down, ALWAYS watch that the bed is moving level in motion, I have heard stories of one corner hanging up/locking latch not releasing, and the car can even fall off, or slip partially off if you don't watch the movement....good luck, as previous...- past ohio

That price, $400 I feel equally is a good price, because you need some type of lifting crane to really put it up right, did that price also include the fluid to put in the reservoir ?? Some installers do this as well... good luck...once you have a lift, you will never do without one...- past ohio

I see that you had to raise the garage door and opener to facilitate the car up on the lift, not sure if you or others on this site know about, there are side-mounted openers that you can mount on the wall that doesn't need to be overhead then !! Finally got my lift
Jwolf....how high are your ceilings, find it hard to believe any garage with less than a 9 foot ceiling, put the Viper on top, should be able to put a regular car underneath...my $.02- past ohio

So what's the Story on the SRT 10 Ram Trucks ?
I tow with my RC 2005 model, and I believe to NEVER use 6 th gear when towing, use only up to 5 th gear , the 6 th could really harm the clutch...my $.02- past ohio

Gen 1 hood rubbing on air box.

Paint Correction 2001 Sapphire RT/10
Bob, do you start it off with a good wash with Dawn detergent and also clay-barring ?? Then put on the products in a certain order ?? I have used Zaino and now have some Adam's products, I find both of these to do a great job...just takes some time and patience....happy polishing !!!- past ohio

Just recieved magazine but...
I started a thread on the same thing last week....mine looks like it wasn't sealed at all, glue looked "unmolested"... IF there would have been anything else in the envelope, I doubt if it would have made the trip through the USPS, my $.02- past ohio
