Article about daily driving a Viper

lol...pretty funny read. I would never daily drive my gen II. That being said, it is a perfect weekend blaster. There is nothing within that price point that will give you the performance, looks, and exclusivity all in one package.

Tough to replace a gen II viper...

How do you guys feel about supercharging a gen II? Reliability? Will it drastically hurt the value since only 53 B/W RTs were ever made?

Tough to replace a gen II viper...

I really need to check out a gen IV and see the differnece between my gen II. That is the only car within my range that I would consider replacing my gen II with.

Thinking about a specific GTS what do you think?

The cabin does get hot...getting some high flow cats will help. I have a 97 RT so it's a lot cooler (literally). I was intimidated when I bought mine, however, respect it and you will be fine. If you drive like an idiot, it will bite you. There are some great tips on this forum on how to...

Tough to replace a gen II viper...

The V's I dont think will. Yes, the C7 may confuse people but I think it looks so much like the Gen II that it wouldn't be confused.

Tough to replace a gen II viper...

Gen III and IV just cant touch the look of the Gen I and II...but I am sure the power of the IV helps people forget pretty quick

Tough to replace a gen II viper...

I still would love to test drive one and see the difference in power and feel. I have motons on my ride so I'd be curious on the feel of the ride.

Tough to replace a gen II viper...

Agreed. Gen II is much sexier then a IV.

Tough to replace a gen II viper...

The more I look for a car that could potentially replace my 97 RT, the more I realize how amazing this car is (only looking because I got a great offer for her). I have yet to find another weekend blaster that gives you the performance, exclusivity, looks, and reliability under $50k...What do...

Considering a Viper, is it for me?

Get a gen II. It is an absolute blast. The little creature comforts really help that you get with a Gen II opposed to a gen I. I give lots of respect to those that DD their vipers...I never would. G luck!
