I am familiar with the line but I have not used them personally. I haven't heard anything bad about them but until I try them myself, I really can't offer anything constructive.
Scott, you'll have to stick around for dinner this time. You know I have got to get my grub on! :D
By the way, I want to pick a black Viper from the attendees to demo on. You guys with black Vipers sound off if you are coming!
Keep in mind that black paint does not weather or wear any differently than any other color. It just shows up in more clarity with black paint. Knowing that, one should realize that whatever works best on black, will be equally effective on any color in the spectrum. There is no such product as...
Let me break down your question a little. To keep paint scratch and swirl free, you have to properly maintain the paint. That consist of proper washing and/or dust removal as that is where 99% of your paint damage is going to come from. That part is not so much about the name brand of the...
Let me know when you want to bring your Viper over and we'll fix a panel together. That way, you can see what your paint is supposed to look like first hand, and you will know exactly what it is going to take product and tool wise to get it done. My schedule is flexible and lunch is on you! :D
Not only have I done something like this, I missed getting laid because the car was not to my cleanliness level to be seen in public. The girl was a 6 foot model and I'm a legs man. I had to beg for forgiveness before she would let me close to them legs again... :smirk:
Yea... I rob...
They look fixed to me! ;)
That bit about the pad. Those are the types of things that you learn with practice, if you don't follow exactly what I show in the videos. It is sometimes hard to wrap your mind around a "technique" but that is the secret to being successful in a lot of physical...
Good Lord... that will probably cost me a few steals now that the word is out! Thanks Eric! :D
A lot of good post guys. You just about covered it. One correction though on drying the pads. What I do is place the pads in the WASHER, face out on the spin cycle to flush out the majority of the...
The title says it all. There is a technique to doing this so that you eliminate the possibility of paint damage from using one. A lot of this is common sense but sometimes, hearing turns on the light bulb for a lot of folks. ;)
This is true, but here's the deal. Clay is available in different "grits". With that said, 99% of the clay that you are going to buy at a big box store, auto parts store like Pep Boys or Auto Zone, and online with distributors such as Meguiar's, Adam's and Zaino is going to be what I call...
You are correct sir! That's my driveway. :2tu:
:rolaugh: Good one!
I feel that it yields the best results when you do that. There are quite a few products on the market that will take you to Shineville. :2tu:
The rule of thumb is that you continue to flip the clay as you use it until you can no longer find a clean spot in the clay. At that point, it's time for more clay.
Torturing your girlfriend like that is going to get you in trouble! :rolaugh:
The mitts that I used in that wash series came from of all places, Auto Zone. You are correct in saying that all wash mitts are not created equal and thus, I had to thoroughly test those before I okay-ed their...
