All I can say is that you can't please everyone, and thank god the new car doesn't have a hideous front end like the ZL-1 CAMARO or SHELBY MUSTANG. The front ends of those two cars are exactly why I love the Challenger. A clean beautiful front end, but that's my opinion just like you have yours...
and the best part is.........................I drove that very yellow car at VOI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
As a side note, plenty of guys were asking about paddle shifters, so that their significant other could participate. No disrespect to my Viper pals, I'm just say'n...
The real answer to your question, requires a question. Are you talking about perceived mileage or real high mileage. 30K miles of cared for driving is just breaking the car in. Eight years ago when I was looking everyone was saying 10k was over the hill, please! What's important is how well the...
It's easy to tell, post a pic of the cast vs. forged. Overall piston height ring placement etc. is totally different between the cast and forged pistons. If you have cast pistons your rods are longer and don't look anything like the 99 and older rods.
Yes I thought the Blue and White was my least favorite. I also think those five spoke shiny wheels did it no justice. I told the body engineer that the yellow was my favorite, especially because the rear of the car was all one color. It just looked better to me. I don't care for the strips...
A word to the wise here. Don't drive it like a Z-06, seriously the way the torque comes on is different. You have to wind the Vette engines, let the Viper engine pull through the gears. You don't want to rev it up to a point then stand on it like the Corvette. Be very careful cause it's waiting...
And the final answer is.........................probably some of the above and this!
The reference is a derogatory one. The reason is because of the unique note that the Viper engine has. The sound produced is one that comes from the odd fire V-10 configuration. Many people say it sounds like a...
No one says you can't sell the car. All they are doing is ensuring that the dealers pony up to train their personell with the proper equipment investment as well as training. I'd be pissed if I couldn't afford it as well, but if you are a dealer who is good to your customer base (like Tator)...
I get it, and it makes sense. I also get the concept of not buying a car that you can't get serviced. As far as I'm concerned that's been the case in So Cal since '92. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure more Vipers are OWNED here than any where else in the world. There isn't a competent non...
So I wanted to talk about that Vert. but decided to keep my mouth shut untill someone else let the cat out of the bag. First off, in a balls to the wall performance car I'm not a Vert guy at all. They just don't suit my needs what so ever. That being said, as much as I like the new car, I just...
You did a great job, I loved how the Petty guys encouraged you to haul butt when they felt you could do it. I was blown away at how good a job that SRT Jeep did on the Roval. My instructor was happy to let me pass guys up and honestly as I approached the banking I wanted to lift just a tad. I...
These were straight up prototypes, four of them. It's the first time they allowed the public to drive non certified cars. My first impressions were Wow. The shifter is so incredible, I mean perfect! Pedals felt much closer together. Steering felt so tight, accurate and solid it was as though it...
I wasn't sure if it was worth the money to rent a car. Well it was worth every Penney, we've been all over the place here the last two days, including shopping for things we had forgotten. I'm sure most of you are already here, but its nice to have a car here.
Re: I added nitrogen filled instead of regular air on all of the PS2's on my 1994 RT
I use Hydrogen with my Magnesium wheels. Embrittlement, magnesium and flat tires are really exciting.
