Digging up an old thread...
I've adjusted my headlights all the way up but to me they still look a little low? Is the light beam suppose to shine this much on the housing? It just seems like the projector lense is set to low???
^^^ To me the lenses looks to low in the housing?
I am having a difficult time trying to secure my brake lines. I have Dave's kit with SS lines from Partrack.
I have 20's in the front but I run into issues with the lines rubbing the inside of the wheel or pulling them to tight when turning. I plan to lower the car an inch so will it get...
I bought some black Lloyd mats for my Dodge Ram with the Fangs logo on them but I have never used them. Very high quality and I now I just need to sell them.
You can have them put anything you want on the mats.
Yes you can drill a few small holes in that area like Dave said. Just becareful not to go to far. If you remove the taillights you might have enough room to get a wrench in there and tighten down a bolt from either direction, but it will be tough.
Here is a picture of a Viper without the body.
That's how I did mine. I need to fine sand it some more to remove some fine scratches but it's a lot better than what it used to be. I also removed the letters as well. :2tu:
I don't know if this helps, but here is a close up of one of the small gauges.
My advice if you remove any of your gauges, is to trace around the mounting bracket onto the plastic with a sharpie so you can line it up when you go to put them back in. It's a pita otherwise.
Okay I've got the stud changed out and the coilover tighten. Now whenever I spin the wheel it has a slight "ticking" sound when it rotates? It almost sounds like I'm watching Wheel of Fortune... Any ideas on what is making the sound now?
I've looked for mine which is a 2000 ACR solid red with all black interior and I found it was one of 39, but I've also been told it's one of 35 and then one of 18?

They also have a Viper :)
I really doubt there is a kit for any Viper. You will most likely have to piece it all together to make it work. It can be done, but I would be worried about the bags when it comes to torque and handling etc.
I'm anti-bags because in the (i hate this term) "Mini truck" scene everything is...
I put on new rotors and Hawk pads, and mine squeal like crazy. I have about 500 on the new brakes. I haven't done the fast and hard braking as of yet, hopefully that will help?
Yes, since they look cheap I added the clear marker lenses from Klearz and I added a flat amber LED. Before I installed them, I sanded down the housing so I could recess/flat mount the new lense with the body. I was able to suck in the lense about 1/8", by doing that a flat LED is the only light...
Well said!
Even though LED's are pricey I think you get your money's worth in the long run. My Viper is lit up at night in a classy and stylish way and I think it enhances the overall look and quality.
I don't think it's "rice" or cheap looking when you do it right. Now if I had...
Since I changed out every bulb that I could with LED's I had to cut and splice 6 diodes for the taillights :omg:
It's not a huge ordeal but it might not be something that everyone wants to do. The only reason why I had to do this was for a backfeeding issue.
When I added leds to my front...
