    A 600 hp GEN4 should be capable of 130mph. My 2003 which is stock with the exception of a K&N airfilter ran an 11.52 @121 of runflats and I have even trapped at 124 on a 11.7.

    There is no comparison of track prep between MIR and Capital. MIR knows how to do it. Capital is always hit or miss.

    Reaction time has no bearing on the 1/4 time. The clock does not start until the car starts moving.

    Great runs. I was just at MIR two weeks ago at a private rental with Ranger. It's a nice track. I made a PR run of 11.52 with a stock 2003. Something about that track just makes me keep wanting to come back again. Congrats Jamie.

    Do you find that you actually achieve a gain in HP by using higher octane fuels (100+) on a stock car? I have heard arguments both ways.

    My best time with a stock 2003 is 11.68 @ 121. The stock Runflats are an issue but can be controlled with a little practice. I am a massive powershifter. I am going to ease up on the 1-2 shift and see if that helps. Congrats on your best time. 11.4 is only around the corner!
