One thing I have found, which is interesting, is that while Dodge decided to lower the price of the Viper 15K, the owners selling their used Vipers did not follow suit. Good news for the Viper's future?
I don't know to what extent the overall profits speak to the future of the Viper, but my feeling is that Dodge/FCA has no intention of shelving the Viper. Despite its low sales volumes, sometimes you make a vehicle because it is the "halo" model of your line up, and even if you are losing money...- flyboy999

2015 Dodge Viper DNA Documentary
This is a fantastic homage to the Gen V. I was thoroughly impressed with the way they outlined the build process. I have seen similar productions (i.e. Nissan GTR), and this one is equally as good. Nice job Viper Team!!! Keep up the great work.- flyboy999

Good point. Particularly when I don't sell the cars I purchase. I buy them and keep them. Resale is no longer in my vocabulary. It's too much hassle. Yeah, I've considered that, but my understanding is that the GTC bumps you up to $94,995, and it gets harder to justify the purchase as you crest 100K with taxes. I am going to check out the PDF file in the other thread that outlines the options. It is a pretty cool program. It's just money...- flyboy999
