I touched mine up with a thin brush and some Walmart mag paint. I sprayed a little in the cap and applied it with the brush. Its a perfect match, and the gouges are hardly perceptible. I did it as soon as I got home after the ride and felt better right away.

Ok here's Jerry's opinion; H1's are real cool. H2's tell me the owner wants to be cool but is too rich and poofy to actually rough it. The fact that H2's look like gigantic shoe boxes doesn't help either, but as long as there is a demand for a product GM is in business to make money.
Yes, I changed my hood springs. The hood not staying up was too much of a nuisance on such a fabulous car. Some people on this forum told me I shouldn't have oiled them, but that was all hogwash as the new hinges come oiled. The springs were just tired. The job was pretty straightforward...
