You guys are making too much of the mileage issue. Who pays attention to the original mileage on a '69 Copo Camaro or a Superbird?

It's because everyone on this forum is a thuroughly honest, hard working, taxpaying hourly wage earner. That's how they can afford to live the Viper lifestyle and frown on thiefs/crooks.
Watching the Gumball 3000 crowd is a pain/pleasure thing.
Seeing the cars is a pleasure, but the people are so painful to watch. They're just too moronic.

I think the only people that could correctly align the Viper body panels were the original team that built it.

It was obtainable thru "normal" channels, and its probably more important to change the oil regularly than to fret the brand so much.
It wasn't like the new Corvette show awhile back where they kept mentioning Ferrari, but not a word about the Viper.
I guess now that GM copied the Viper's styling, they wish it would just go away.
