    so it wouldn't hurt a rich driver at all if caught speeding? UK system of 3pts at a time up til 12pts equalling ban does the job pretty well...there are fewer ways round it now, but if we just had to pay every time, sure many more would be hoofing it on the road without a care

    anyone pulled for using decals instead of plate?: Used when i went over to Le Mans as i wasn't sure of how bendable the reg.s are there. Taken off when returned and sure it's saved me a few front-facing speeding camera tickets! So far (3 1/2yrs) so good on the no-plate penalty....

    I.O.D. fuse / system?

    fuel pump no go? fuse in my RT's in the trunk fuse box (left hand side - see manual; can photo and post...). clicking on key turn? i had to trickle charge my RT for 48hrs to get the battery back up - that was the solution for my problem in the original post!

    Car's been sitting for few months. Tried a hopefull start without charging: > turn key to 2nd stage and hear fuel pump as normal > 3rd stage (start) and nothing, as normal when battery's low...but also hear a click > turn off and back to stage 2 and this time no fuel pump and gauges...

    thanks for the info Jon et al! have previously had the lowering caps from you, but considering lowering springs with orig caps back on + 19" wheels = maintaining current 1/2" lowered height, with the stiffer, prog spring rate improve performance on rare track outings and help keep the bigger...
