Anyone in insurance? Have question on claim
Well I think I got it straitened out (sorta). I had damage to my supra, vandalism. There is a huge gash down the side of the car w/ a pretty deep dent, among other things. Things like 2 big dents in the bumper (where it was kicked), damage to the paint on the bumper/hood/top/hatch, etc. Now...- MadMaxx

A good exhaust system for a 93 viper.
I used dynomax in my sills and a rear muffler delete on my 96. Damn that sounded goooood. 3K rpm resonance kinda sucks, but you get used to it.- MadMaxx

dynomax "bullit" mufflers (2.5" is what you want) drop right in place of cats. Going to be loud though...real loud.- MadMaxx

who has the best HID kits
Stay under 6000K for the best light output. I prefer 5300K, very white with a blue tint. Higher kelvin ratings just become more and more blue while reducing total lumins. I saw they have purple HID's now :ugh:- MadMaxx

Help my Viper is making weird sounds under the car!
Start with the basics... Any codes? When was the last time the plugs were changed? What is the current fuel pressure? Check at idle and under load to make sure it changes. Do you have cats on the car? Sounds like unburt fuel exploding in the exhaust.- MadMaxx

Did you report this to paypal? They are quick to get money back, which is one of the reasons they suck (for the seller anyway). Product delivered was not that as advertised. Did you pay via a CC or direct bank withdraw?- MadMaxx

Carbon Fibre pics
Neil - You could reduce the weight a good bit by doing resin infusion. If he hand layed the part, it's going to very very difficult to achieve the correct ratio of cloth to resin. Just bagging the part won't do it. Infusion works very well. Far cheaper than prepreg with almost simmilar results...- MadMaxx

Well, kinda. The surface coat of carbon is what you are tieing to, not the carbon itself. Most "pretty" carbon pieces are going to be coated in a UV protectant coat, or a clear gelcoat mix (Epoxy or PER in most cases). Headgasket info. / questions.....Please
HG replacement is *easy* on a viper. Hell, any engine that you can get right too w/o anything in the way is OK in my book :) Start with checking your current head bolt torque to make sure it's within spec. I would contact cometic for a replacment HG. You will find them far cheaper than what...- MadMaxx

Side Sill Heat Paint
Just use aluminized heat shielding. You can ceramic coat the inside fiberglass prior to attaching the sheilding, it will help some. Dump your cats and you won't have any problems with heat.- MadMaxx
