    Are you dead set on just a GNX over a GN? I've got a 87GN w/ 62K miles (ttop) that will be available soon. Uber clean, and only a few choice mods. I bought another viper so rest of the small toys are being sold off.

    First off...why? You want to willfully trash your pilot sports in a display of "look at me, 500lbs torque at idle baby!"? Your not talking about running on the strip, so I can only assume your talking about doing it on the street/parking lot. Burnouts trash your tires, can superheat your clutch...

    I was in your same shoes 2 years ago (wow..time flies!). The C5 is a great car, no doubts. It's comfortable, it's smooth, it has nice electronic features. It's a true daily driver with a ~4.6sec 0-60 time. The Viper, is 100% different. Let's start with the Gen1. The Gen1 is by far the purists...

    Go to a glass shop and get them to cut you some DOT to the same length. Dodge does not have a PN for the rubber gasket around the window (which has a tendency to crack over time) but there are alternatives out there. Plexi works real well too, easier to deal with IMHO for people who R&R the...

    a 96 RT/10 has the aluminum A-arms and suspension components from the 96 GTS. It has a Gen1 motor but sports a rear-exist exhaust. This accounted for the 15hp increase over the side-exhaust cars. The hood is also from a GTS, but the NACA duct and luvers were not cut at factory (aka: smoothies)...

    Owners in the Greenville, South Carolina area

    My in-laws live in moore, in the Twin Lakes subdivision. I'm up that way all the time. I'm still working on the logistics of the day. Might be taxing to take the cars all the way up the mountain.. parking it limited at CH park. James
