    Gen 3 oil change tips

Just in case someone comes along in the future and does a search... Used homemade stacked 2x8 ramps. This was high enough to get the 15qt oilpan under the car. I can see that another 2x8 layer would make things a bit easier in the future, I will be modifying mine to add that 3rd level...

    Gen 3 oil change tips

Ok, sorry about reviving this thread, figure it's better than starting a new one. I'm doing my first oil change as I type this the oil is draining. I built a set of ramps out of stacked 2x8s so I could drive up on them, then lift the back end up with a jack to level everything out. I pulled...

EBC Redstuff pads with temp sensor?

That'd be my guess too. I'd stick an OHM meter on it, and heat the back up just to see. Really kinda a cool, though for us unused, feature.

    Mobil 1

Autozone normally stocks it where I'm at... however, getting it all in one trip is hit or miss. Usually they only have about 6 quarts on the shelf, and none in the stockroom.

    Gen 3 oil change tips

Called a local Dodge dealer and asked for Part # 05037836AA, the rep said they didn't normally stock them but could have some on hand by the next day. True to his word, when I stopped by after work he had them. Picked up 4 so I'd have a stash. I also asked if they had a viper tech on staff...

    Gen 3 oil change tips

Bought my car in Sept from a local guy. He had just had service done to the car at 5k miles, I took delivery of it with 5,100 on it. I'm now sitting at about 8,100 miles, and I would like to change the oil and filter. I've gone Mobil 1 synth in my truck every 3k miles since it was new, figure...

Has anyone ever purchased a Viper off E-Bay?

In the spirit of "revive a thread day" I choose this one! Yes, I purchased my 2005 copperhead off of E-bay. It was within 60 miles of me, so I could inspect it prior to handing over the check. It was a private sale, and the E-bay listing said "Clear Title"... Apparently, the owner didn't...

    Question for FLA owners,,,

Only people that have a problem around here are those folks who live, or work within a few hundred yards of the beaches. Sometimes the winds kick up the surf something fierce, and you can see the salt just building up on all the parked cars here at the beach. I live inland, which cuts down on...

    Help the Washington Viper Club

For an embroidery, what about leaving the state just an outline. PR is right, Pete will be lost in the sea of green in cloth, though I still like the green better for stickers and such.

    Help the Washington Viper Club

I like #1, but the state would look better as a subdued terrain / satellite map image. Go to google maps, pan over to the state, and hit the terrain or satellite button in the top right corner of the map window to see what I'm talking about.

    Cruising RPMs?

Boppin around town, in traffic I tend to keep it in the 2000 - 3000 range between the stoplights. If there's a longer strech between lights, I'll drop it to 4th. I've never touched 5th or 6the in the city that I can remember.

    Bradenton 12-09-2007

I just joined VCA after purchasing my first Viper, an 05 copperhead. I'm over in Melbourne, and would love to head over to this event to see what's what. I usually shoot down 192 then take I4 whenever I head over to Tampa. I'm still getting used to the car, and from what I've gleened from...
