The sidesills are all one piece. From yor pic it appears that the lip towards the inside goes up under the rubber surround then bolts to the factory holes on top of the existing side sill.
LOL, I was about to post that I had not recieved a tracking number as of yet... when I decided to double check my email. Tracking # obtained as of 1:22am est working late are we?
I believe PS1s are directional... You'll need to say which side.
I'd offer, but the two I have in the garage wouldn't be worth it to ship, one has a nail in it, and the other is as bald as kojack :P
The lack of knowledge from some sales staff is just mind boggling. If it was my career, I'd be damned if some customer would know more about my product.
I bought a 2500 HD Chevy truck a few months back. I like the sales guy, no pressure and pleasant to chat with, but he knew next to nothing...
You can replace the mufflers with a straight pipe and leave the crossover in there if you wanted to go that route, the mufflers are just clamped inline...
I like it... I think it'd look even better with no numbers, just the stripes. We all know the shift pattern, and if someone doesn't they have no business driving it :P
What about finding one is a standard or metric size just a bit smaller than the 8mm, then drilling it out and tapping it? If your willing to go that route you may have a bigger selection to start off with.
I lost the entire plastic piece off the drivers side, and a few months later, I noticed the passenger side was sagging because it only had one fasterner left. I removed it and am awaiting my replacements from VSP.
Less Ions... :) I know it has something to do with corrosion in aluminum radiators. My Miller Tig with an integrated cooler calls for deionized water, or their special coolant which is probably just in a fancy bottle.
Never to own a viper again.... I'd take a stright trade for just about any of the cars I dreamed about owning really, like an F40, 246 dino, or a McLaren F1 etc...
Right now, I own my dream. To cash it in I'd have to have another dream :)
I think my stage VI Honda DelSol could take ya!
Ok ok, let me know what it's like after the muffler swap. I love the sound of my kit, but it's a bit of a drag at around 1500 RPM with the resonant frequencies on the highway.
I bought what was eventually diagnosed as a "wounded" viper by my viper tech. The mothership (chrysler warranty) had the viper tech yank the motor, crate it, and ship it out to Arrow for a rebuild. The following came back with the motor and I followed it to the T.
Engine break in...
I just installed an autoform in my 05 vert. I really like the way it ties into the lower frame rails. If you've not seen one, try and find someone willing to take their rear panel off to show you how it works. It might give you an idea of how to build your own system.
That is the sidewinder rim & cap from my 2005 copperhead. I just happen to have one sitting in my living room to correct a small blemish I found...
You can probably guess I'm unmarried :)
OD of the cap is 2.128 in.
The center hole in the rim is 1.90 in. where the tabs make contact.
There is a slight recess in the face of the rim for the cap OD to fit in.
Hope that helps.
I see one from time to time driving around MacDill AFB in Tampa. Not sure if it's the Naples car, but that would be a hella commute if it is :)
Macdill AFB has 4 regulars that I've seen more than once, the 06 B/W, a Twinkie, a steel grey, and a red gen 2. I guess mine would be the 5th one...
Treesnake, I have 18in SSRs all around on my 2005. I did not try and put them on before I did the e-brake relocation, but I think you are right.
It did look like they would fit, just not sure how much clearance there would be.
