Yeah, that's the issue... No black avail from Parts Rack, just the "ANTHRACITE METALLIC" color Jon posted above.
Bah... Guess I'll just find me a painter. Anyone suggest a good paintshop in the Tampa / Riverview / Brandon area?
I'm really close to going ahead and getting a set of SSRs. The only thing is, I really wanted a matte black because I think it would look better with the copper paint.
Does anyone have a pic of an SSR wheel with something black next to it? I'm really wondering if I can live with the gray...
My guess is a tighter engine overall, nothing magic. Those guys are very experienced with viper motors. It ran about 5 to 10 degrees hotter & oil presure was pegged during the first 300 miles. For the next 700 miles, the oil presure & temps slowly came back to close to where they were. It...
The whole car looks fantastic. I wonder if you could remove the fangs logo from the glove box though... having 4 of the same logo in that one pic just seemed to "busy" to me for some reason. I love the leatherwork, man that looks sweet!
Hate to admit it... But it's not installed as of yet. I ordered it, had it delivered, then had to pack up my life and move across the state for a new job. I won't have a chance to put it on until July/Aug when I get back from an extended overseas trip.
There are lots of folks with this...
Call partsrack Link The phone # is at the bottom of the page.
I ordered one last summer, and had it freight shipped right to my house. The quality is fantastic, and JonB really came through. He called me when it was ready to ship, and it arrived exactly as planned... That crate was a work...
I still get nervous driving my car, even after 18 months of ownership. It's not a scared nervous... hard to explain, like an excited nervous.
When I drive it to work, I watch the clock in anticipation of driving home. I think I got the right car :P
Went into a place ready to plunk down cash for what I wanted. Asked about the parts when I went in the lobby, salesman said "Oh, you want to talk to <name>" he brings me back to him. He's on the phone, pauses to ask what I need, then says have a seat he'll be right with me. I sat there...
I find myself "scrunching" down to see under the rearview mirror on sweeping right handers... I also have the seat all the way back, and have not moved it in over a year. I'm thinking the 2 inch kit is the way to go but I'm not really sure as I've never been in a car that has either the 1 or 2...
4300 miles since the arrow rebuild in June ( including the 1st 1000 baby miles ) with probably another couple K before the rebuild that I didn't really keep too much track of.
If you buy a good high-end head unit, most have the option to disable the internal amp. Just an FYI on a feature to look for rather than add another little box to an already cramped for space vehicle.
It's what would be known as a chassis dyno. You put the car on it, lift it to the dyno roller, and back the wheels onto it, then strap it down. You just can't see the straps holding the back end down in the video.
I admit, in that video he seems a tad forward on the roller but not by much.
