Congratulations!!!!
Nice fundraiser.
I'm getting married next July, and I'm still thinking about thank-you gifts.
This is something intresting since both my future wife and I are enthusiast Viper collectors.
Chris,
Your work looks great, like every project you do.
I'm curious how the result will look and learn all these things to modify my own cars in the future.
Re: You\'ve got to be kidding me . . .
Seems like Dodge sold this CC this year. The updated nose is an aerodynamical update.
The "old" CC is also still for sale, so I figure these updated versions could be bought at Viper HQ.
The updated versions are raced in the Speed GT and the FIA GT3...
:hitfan:
Fugly....
Although I understand the wing idea. ;)
But, can you post some pictures of the wing on the Coupe. The old GTS was a GTS/R lookalike with the same wing.....
I haven't seen any pictures so if I'd say.... agreed. Back on topic!
I asked Oreca to answer that question... and also asked a friend of mine who is driving a Dutch CC.
In the FIA GT3 championship there are some 24H races. For example, Spa, Nurburgring.
Also in the Belgian GT championship...
Ok, so the '08 Viper will be ready by now.....
But what about the 2010 version? Would they be working on that one?
I found a topic discussing the New Mclaren SLS
Could it be this raw thing is related to the 2010 Viper?
The Aluminium chassis looks like the Viper's
And... is this a Viper...
Have you seen those prices!!!!
almost 500 euro for a overall... and it isn't even autographed.
And...
If anyone want's to buy anything from the shop (it's allmost 100% French) I have an email adress of someone in the shop who emails in English.
I purchased some cool Le Mans Memorabilia trough the Oreca Shop.
I now own a piece of Viper racing history.....
A piece of a brake disc from the 1998 Le Mans winner, and a wheel nut from one off the cars in 2000.
There have only been Gen I RT/10's for sale.
It is possible to build your own when you buy a GTS with it.....
Hopefully AutoArt will produce the Gen II someday.
Congrats on the purchase, but hey what a lot of money!
At those prices it looks like people are going to fit the plain models with decals themself to get more money out of it.
Is there somewhere to tell if the car is original?
Thats my thought....
As you look at the pictures above (the last Ebay auction with the set), it seems like they are not 100% original.
The things that are fitted on the car like the little diamond like things above the numbers and the things on the roof are the signs the model is indeed...
Re: Bat\'s KW\'s Coilovers installed, black emblems too. (PICS and thoughts)!
I was just going to ask.... Bat I hope you're not going to sell it.
Thats what happened to the GTS also.... the stripes were just on and you started thinking about selling.
And....
Now I'm reading you're allready...
Neil,
Is there someway to see differences between a kit and the real thing?
Bburago only made a number of decals, not all are on their sheet.
Also, the number 41 isn't made by them.
I have seen it before but I don´t know a thing about production numbers.
He askes a 5% up on the Paypal payments wich is Illegal.... not a good seller.
