Before you pick up your car, assuming you intend to before the hose is repaired, better have them check the heater as soon it will be too cold to drive.:smirk:

I own and regularly drive both cars (Viper RT/10 and Dodge Stealth R/T). As much as I love my Stealth, the Viper is in a separate league in virtually every way. :drive:The handling and stability at speed of the Viper are superior to the Stealth (but you guys already know that, otherwise you...
All the references in this thread to Prius' makes me wonder if I am the only Viper owner who also owns a Prius?:dunno:
Of course i enjoy driving the Viper more than the Prius and must admit that my Viper consumes less gas in a year than my Prius.:)

If the battery checks out, then it could be a loose or bad chassis ground wire. I had this problem on my Dodge Stealth and once the ground wire was properly connected, my weak starting problems disappeared.

Bobpantax is being a bit rough in his critique above. Clearly, this has been a bad Viper experience so far regardless of the cause or whether the car was thoroughly inspected before purchase or not. In the unlikely event the car was NOT inspected before purchase, loosing a bearing on a motor...
Re: Is the patern transparent?
The economics of the dealer closings are basic supply and demand. If you have fewer car sales, then each dealer is on average selling fewer cars, resulting in more competition among dealers for fewer and fewer sales. The result of this competition is car prices...
Carmen,
For those of us not staying at the hotel, will the cruise begin at 9:30 at the hotel?
Looking forward to catching up with all the PA Vipers.

Welcome to the VCA Ken. I love your car but as you can see from my avatar i may be considered a bit prejudice in favor of red RT/10's. ;) I am located about 1/2 hr north of you so if you are ever interested in cruising, I know some great runs not too far.

FYI, for those complaining about lower mileage with fuels containing ethanol compared to straight gasoline, this is totally to be expected and does not indicate anything wrong with the ethanol blend. It is simply due to the fact that ethanol contains less combustible carbon per unit volume than...
If i did not already have Cognac, i would do it in an instant. I think Cognac leather and trim with the black dash on an all red car is the best! I also think it would look good with yellow, although the all black interior also looks good with yellow IMO.:drive:

If i remember my physics 101, E = 1/2 mv2 where E is energy, m is mass and v2 is velocity squared. So in the absence of wind drag it takes proportionately more energy, i.e. horsepower to accelerate a heavier object to a given speed. Factor in wind drag which is equal in the scenario of the 2...
I agree with TAXIMAN. I looked exclusively for a red RT/10 with the Connolly leather interior as that is ALL I wanted (there are not many GENII's with that color combo). I already had a blue sports car (Dodge Stealth) with an all black interior and personally think the Connolly leather...
Why don't you throw in a few more acronyms to impress everyone? Do you think Vipers got their reputation not to mention their success on the track from non-performance?:nono:
BTW, why don't you tell us why you are Taipei?

Having just read the article last night, I can say I was also a little surprised until you read the categories that were rated to determine the overall winner. The GTR won because it was the rated the most comfortable car, with more passenger space, with excellent performance over a variety of...
Keep deluding yourselves and in a few years we're all going to burn up. It doesn't take a genius to figure something is amiss when 5 of the hottest years since records have been kept have occurred during the last 10 years. Haven't you guys seen "An Inconvenient Truth"? :eater:Global warming...
Congratulations and thanks for posting the photos. Reminds me of the day i picked up my Viper from the delivery man. Very happy day indeed. Still brings a smile to my face when i look in the garage and even more on the road.:drive:BTW, I agree with those above about red being the true Viper...
