    Yes, I've only owned a Viper for a couple months. Before that it was an 800 hp Supra for 10 years so my car knowledge is very limited outside of imports but I'm working on learning the domestic side now. I'm reading up on MOPAR now thanks to google and youtube.

    I have never even heard of MOPAR other than from seeing the word on this forum a few times but still not sure exactly what it is or the history. I own an 06 Coupe.

    When I first bought my gen III it had the gas light on so I pulled in to fill it up and that was the first compliment I got on the car after not even owning it for 15 minutes, "nice vette."

    Viper Purchase Without Physically seeing or test driving. Advice?

    I bought mine off ebay sight unseen but I didn't put a dime down until I did my own inspection. I wouldn't trust a dealership. If you really want it just put down a small deposit ($500) to hold the car until you can see it.

    Yes it was. I was looking at this car a few months back when I was Viper hunting. I called the dealer and they said it was a typo and had it fixed 2 days later on the carfax report. I didn't get a chance to see the car in person and ended up getting a good deal closer to home.

    Heads/Cam or Paxton?

    So I've hit a fork in the road with mods for my gen III. I'm considering upgrading the cam and porting the head which several people on here have hit 620-640 rwhp with a Greg Good head job. For about the same price, maybe a tad more I could have a Paxton installed with pretty close to the same...

    Thx. John ended up talking me out of the invo's and I went with the super sports, great steet tire by the way. Yes the ccw's do require work to keep them shiny. I had the same set on my supra but in 18s. I treat them as I do a painted surface when I wash the car, then dry as to not leave water...
