So the feedback I got is that it is an independent manufacturer in the midwest that has done a few of them on one-off orders. I don't have a price, but I agree with the above, it is probably not very cheap!
I would imagine it is not very exotic when it comes to vapor barriers or oilproofing...
A good friend of mine specializes in high-end rug fabrication and installation and just sent me this pic... Which one of you guys is it? Nothing short of awesome. I have requested much more information...
Both of these events are great for me as a "Viewer" and to meet some EU Viper colleagues. The track in Italy is about a 4 hour drive from me, and I plan on taking a train to Le Mans this year.
I have just relocated to Germany and left my Viper in the US; this could be a great outlet to meet up with some fellow owners as I missed VOI. I will be watching this thread with interest!

Since we're on the topic of plates with nothing to do with Vipers... Though I get asked more often than not what my handicap is. Usually I say executives.
I was very interested in them and did a bit of research. The general consensus (from several other non-Viper car forums) is that they're flimsy, cheaply made, and would not stand up to 90-100mph in either the open or closed position.
(Plus I think some Viper guys would have a heart attack...
Thanks for all the replies folks. I do have some friends that I would trust to light it up every once in a while, I just didn't want to make them have to trudge to the location, uncover the car, and run it for a while. maybe once every few months would be possible...
I also thought about...
Well, with a bittersweet feeling I need to pickle my '03 for a long nap. I took a job in Europe and my family and I will be moving over for several years (at least 3), with occasional trips back home. I would love to take the car with me, but its looking like the flat we like the most only has...
I frequent 3 of the bad BP stations listed, and have visited 2 in the past 2 weeks... I did read somewhere that it was only the lower and middle grades affected (middle is a blend of high and low grades), but I cannot find the reference... Thankfully I've been fine!

Boy, the Plastidip could be addictive. I could see going matte white or gunmetal gray.
How well will the wheels hold up? Will this stuff survive a regular washing?

My son and I had a great time, and Ray, your hospitality was absolutely unmatched. Mucho thanks to the Accelerator's guys for opening up the shop on a Saturday and great to get my car dyno'd! We really had a blast and it was great to meet some of the IN VCA.
One huge factor of when I was...
This hit Reddit yesterday... Palatine Road & Wheeling Rd in Wheeling was the identified intersection. It almost looks like the camera car was egging the guy on; but seriously...

OK, after getting to a Windows box, the .EXEs are compiled audio/video presentations. Very well done... Here are links for the files:
Damn Yankee VEC Training Videos
thanks again to uvbnbit and SpeedRacervr4! If anyone has more information, please PM me and I'll add them to the Google Docs...
Thanks! Let me work on getting the files up and hosted. I immediately see the problems, they are .exe files (executables are typically the worst thing ever to send via Email). I will get them extracted and hosted somewhere this evening, stay tuned, and THANKS!

I'd be totally down for a dyno session. Mine has not seen time since the original owner did it in 2004 and I was expecting to do it this summer. I'd much rather do it at VOI!

It hasn't hit my gmail yet, the minute it does, I will put it in Google Docs and make it available for anyone that wants to download it by just clicking a link...

There is a veritable ton of information on the Pioneer AVIC forums as it relates to one of their Windows-CE powered head units, the AVIC F-Series (www.avic411.com). I have an Pioneer F720BT in my Tundra and it also runs WinCE and is highly modifiable... The community has released after market...
