looking for Nitrous tuner near Chicago
Just wondering how this went... My new-to-me '03 hasn't been dyno'd/tuned in 7 years and I'm wondering if anyone used Sound Performance or Automotorsports and what the recent experience was! Nothing major, I just want a session to dyno/tune VEC2/dyno my setup to get current numbers. -mb- MoreBeer

Vec 2 problem? or something else?
So I had this EXACT problem with my VEC2 on my Gen3 for the past couple weeks... I'm still a Viper noob, so I don't know if the Gen2 is installed the same... Forgive me if I'm wrong! The car would sometimes throw the CEL with a CKP/CMP code, sometimes not, but it would stumble HARD under WOT...- MoreBeer

I just installed Torque with one of the E-Bay ELM327 adapters a couple weeks ago on my Android. Simply put, this is awesome. There is also an ability to record your drive via GPS with your phone's camera overlay. -mb- MoreBeer

SRT Track Experience
Thanks for all the feedback! I will be skipping the SRT experience and putting the money towards driving school. Wikkid, check the illinoisvipers.com website, VCA members get 1 free road course and Autocross event. I will probably hold out until next year though. -mb- MoreBeer

Is the experience worth paying $500 for? I'm thinking of doing the Autobahn in August as well, but wondering if I should put the money toward a dedicated performance driving school instead, since I don't qualify for a "free" run. They're still re-doing the theme as part of the vBulletin upgrade. The admins said it should be a couple days, but they are making incremental improvements here and there. They're well aware of the color schemes being broken! ;)- MoreBeer
