Wheels are very subjective. Search for a thread called "ultimate wheel thread". You will find tons of pictures to look through and decide what you like. then either look through the classifieds or call up one of our great vendors to buy a set. You can also get the stock wheels chromed if you...
The Insurance company will put it up at a salvage auction, no matter the condition. They don't keep them around. So if you know where the local salvage auctions are then look it up. Chances are it will sell for close or more then they offered it to you.
Congrats on the new to you car, they are more fun then you can imagine.
My car jumped side to side like yours on uneven roads when i first got it. A new set of PS2's fixed that problem.
It has been done a few times try looking through the pics im sure you will come across some.
Also the rims from any other viper will fit your car without any issues. Thats what i did to update the look of my 94. my wheels are off an 08.
I never said to use the Key, I said MANUALLY (ie: using your finger) lock and unlock the door. There is a locking mechanisim in the door, even tho there is no key hole.
Not sure if it would work, but in other chrysler's you need to unlock the door with the key, maybe try to lock and unlock the door manually without the key in the ignition.
Good luck.
the wheels 2 posts up are the stock wheels off an 06+ viper, 5 spoke version, there is lots of different styles of stock wheels. they all will fit your Gen II But im not 100% sure if the stock 17's will clear your brakes.
the 5 spoke SRT's are an 18 up front 19 out back offset.
