    Considering a Gen 1: What to watch out for?

    My 94 gen 1 has A/C but no real windows. Tires are important but not overly expensive (around $1000-1200) for a set. Check the born on date on the tires on the car. Mine came with 07 tires which are good. I picked it up for 25K with a hardtop and 50K miles.

    My new to me 94 RT/10

    Here's an updated pic of my baby. Since I bought it I have installed a Belanger cat back system and removed the cats. Put on a set of smooth tubes, Got the side sills repainted and Got a beautiful set of 5 spokes for it with new Kuhmo's. Now its perfect.

    I think thats a crackpot diagnosis. I'd take it to a different shop. there's 3 or 4 other dealers in the city, although i can't say i recommend any of them because ive never dealt with them on that side of it. Maybe some of the other local guys can chime in a recommend someplace to take it...

    Tire dilemma

    there should be no problem in having that patched. Just go to a good tire shop that can dismount and remount the tire without damaging your wheel. The piece of metal is not much bigger then a nail.

    are vipers rare?

    this spring ive seen 3 so far. an rt/10, a gts and one srt coupe. When you check the numbers there is probably the same number of vipers in the world as there is corvette's made in one year. Less then 10,000 vipers total i'll bet.

    Track Time - Calgary

    I'd be up for it but i dont think ill have the exhaust done by then. It sure is a pain to do. Pulled the sills off probably 20 times now. Gotta get it perfect. Have fun at the track.

    30 Divorced before viper. currently in a relationship. 4 years of college to become an auto tech. now i drive a tow truck. Its all about what you do with the income you have. I saved for 2 years and worked hard to have a viper in my garage.

    How fast is your near stock GEN I?

    Nice run, I've only had mine on the strip once, it was a cold night and i spun too much i think. it was only a 14.1 I was very dissapointed, 3 runs after me someone blew on and oiled down the track. so I headed home.

    that is a nice looking car at varsity but i can't believe they would let a new car leave the factory like that. If i had the cash id be on it. check at eastside they have a nice (but slower) yellow srt in the showroom.

    Looks great, i dropped mine off at the bodyshop so they could be repainted. they were black where the cats sit and it was really bugging me. i hope they come back as nice as yours are. Seems we're doing a bunch of the same mods. on mine i planned some smooth tubes, new catless exhaust system...

    Bringing this back up. I love to see pics of vipers. The warmer weather is making want to go for a cruise. but the 3 feet of snow in the front yard is telling me its not time yet.

    Definatly Do support our troops, I have a support ribbon taped to my back window. I lost a cousin in afganistan a cuople of years ago, gone too young at 24. Keep your head down and come home safe!!
