Mike, MD Supras must be fast then because most that I've seen pull high 11's and low 12's but there are several pulling mid 11's. Of course this is on drag radials and 100 octane so its not a fair comparison to a Viper on street tires and pump gas. Pat 97 GTS- patgilm

Rear Facia Paint Question
I have a 97 Blue/White and my slots are painted blue but the white stops and then continues after the slot (does not go through the slot). Also, does the white stripe on the 97's have a pearl/metallic on it or is it a flat white paint? Mine is flat but I seem to remember some being more...- patgilm

Viperzilla, I know at least five Supras in MD that have at least 700hp, so there are a good bit in MD that will take a Viper unless it has serious mods. Also, in Glen Burnie there is also a TT Corvette with VIPRKLR as his license plate, don't think I'll be messing with him either. As for me...- patgilm

It sounds like Billy. His car is definitely fast as hell and is a true badass street car. However, he has not run a 9 second pass although the car has the power to do it for sure. Hmmm, where in MD is Laytonsville? I'm trying to think of who's car that is. There is only one 9 second Supra in MD but it's in Frederick and is not really a true "street" car. Now there are a couple other blue ones in MD that have about 700-750 rwhp but they do not run 9 second quarter...- patgilm

Rear bumper cover removal
Part of the stripe on my 97 GTS is peeling up and I am going to get it painted soon. I was wondering how hard it is to take off the rear bumper cover and if anyone here has done it. I would rather do it myself and bring it to the body shop than have them take it off. Thanks, Pat- patgilm

Greg, Funny you should say that. I just sold my Supra TT last month to get a 97 Blue/White GTS. I was offered 50k for my viper
**** , I must of got a bad deal because I paid $54.5k for mine which is a 97 Blue/White GTS with 6,600 miles on it, then I had to pay $1,400 for shipping from CA to MD. Hey, I'm new to this board and I just picked up a 97 Blue/White GTS with 6,000 miles. The car is mint except for a little bubbling/peeling (about two inches) of the white stripe to the left of the exhaust.
