Thanks for all the replys. There seems to be some differing of opinions as always. I have to correct my post. I actually have green pads (the backing plate) but after closer inspection I think they may be brake man pads. It's very hard to make out any writing. Anyway. it does not seen to be...
Pads have the same bump on them from the groove in the rotor. Like I said you can just scrape it off. So I believe its there from the rotor. in other words there does not seem to be anything there that is causing the groove. Pads seem to be wearing normally.
I have a 2006 SRT10 with the Stop tech ACR rotors on the car. Brake calipers are standard, pads are EBC green. My rotors seem to be wearing in an odd way. Toward the center of the rotor I'm getting a grove that is wearing into the rotor. It's happening on both sides of the rotor and both sides...
My guess is first you need to decide what you can afford and which model you really want. If you go for the non voi Viper, prices should be a bit more reasonable say mid 40's for an 2006. gen 4 2008 models will be quite a bit more. I would look on this forum. Also try some of the more reputable...

I appreciate the help. At this point I would like to get GPS Nav and a nicer head unit. Ot's just not worth the effort to deal with this head unit that is basically old news.
Just an update on this topic. I ended up finding the correct Sirius radio part as listed above. It works great. The problem was I had the wrong Sat radio part. So now I have SiriusXM.
Okay, so after my discussion with Dan @ viperspecialtyperformance.com I basically came to the conclusion that I need to scrap the stock head unit. There is so little out there that actually works with it, after looking into this for a few weeks it just seems pointless to continue beating this...
